I was pleasantly surprised to see a Canadian parts manufacturer for the Element that is also a sponsor of this site.

I like the look of these guards - I know a lot of people have gone the Home Depot look and that's okay too.

Anybody got some pics so I can figure out which of the Cloud Rider grill styles looks best on a GGM or SSM? Sorry if there is already a thread on this - couldn't find it.

Dang now I gotta get a hula dog too

Back to my first question. The pictures of your Cloud Rider grill are awesome. Which style is that?

I found that Cloudrider's site doesn't show several of the grill styles (which I've never been able to understand). However, I had great response from Karen at Cloudrider when I asked for additional shots. Unfortunately, I'm still not sure which one she sent me images for, so I have yet to order one :) .

That being said, I think this style and color looks great on the GGM. I swiped this image from an old post somewhere. The black really seems to fit the GGM "personality", and the vertical slats match the E's lines. Of course, thats an issue of taste, which is why they make so many styles I suppose. If it makes a difference to you, I understand black can take a long time to get due to Cloudrider needing to have powder-coating done out of house. I know, its an idiotic business practice not to maintain a small inventory of products advertised for sale, but thats just the nature of the beast from what I hear.

Uh oh

I can see that the choice won't be easy PaddleMe and lizzurd -both styles look really good.

Any more examples out there?

I simply LOVE what you've done with your license plate, Mike! Simply Fabulous! Now, is that factory Honda brand duct tape, or Photoshop-in-a-roll? ;) Although the gray clashes with the bumper fascia, it accentuates that manly Maryland plate! Still, too bad Honda doesn't make a more neutral tone duct tape that would bring out the highlights of your magnificent grille insert! (Oops, I said "insert"! Now I'll have to rectify the situation! tee-hee! ;)

(LEGO has had one too many beers tonight... Please stand by...)

Lego, I can't take credit for the Photoshop/duct tape work. Its not my E, my plate, or even my state; I simply swiped the photo to keep as reference for whenever I get around to buying a Cloudrider. I'm actually on the opposite end of the country in Oregon. And hundreds of people see my plate every day, so I wouldn't try to cover up the signature fir tree on the Oregon plates. :D

I ordered the grill guard in that pattern today!

Even though we won't be getting the E until next month

They sold the GGM that we were looking at out from underneath us :x but the dealer has found us a SSM instead. Oh well, both colours are nice.
