I was combing through this category and didn't notice anyone representing the Hawkeye state, so I thought I would start a thread.

I live in West Des Moines and bought my Element from Jordan Honda in Ames.

Where are all the other Iowans at?

Sioux City, IA here. My element is a 2003 SLM automatic w/ rear sunroof, foglights. $18,000 miles.

I still do not see about 5 or 6 around here. A few black ones, saw 2 green ones and one like mine. And one original blue. Don't think they are selling too many around here. How about your area?

Since you two are Iowans I'll only write with simple words. I'm up in Minnesota...and I'm only kidding about the first sentence since I'm originally from Grinnell, Iowa. Hey wasn't that bowl game GREAT! That was the best football game I've seen in a long time. Especially fun since the Vikings stink this year. Enjoy your snow and lets see some pictures of those Es out in that storm!

I'm originally from Iowa. I was just there for a visit a week ago. I only saw a couple of E's. Well maybe it was the same one twice. Hey maybe it was you. They are great cars for long road/camping trips. Live in California now. There are a million of them out here. Cant wait to take it to the snow.

Yes, we are in Urbandale- a suburb of Des Moines. I was cruising through here looking for an Iowa Enthusiasts group..

I find it amazingly fun that whenever we see another Element in Des Moines, we all wave at each other! Element owners are all relatives in my book.

If you ever see a redhead (or blonde depending on the color I chose that month) woman hauling dogs or young kids around town, thats me..

Wait a minute! I'm not from Iowa but I have an Element and a Beagle.

I have exchanged postings with Tom and Truman.

Does your Beagle hate the back wing-windows?

My Beagle (Scout) now insists on hanging her head out the front pass. side window.

"Bob"the beagle is unusually well behaved and prefers to lay on the floor behind the driver seat. We throw a dog bed in there when we go and he plops down and sleeps as we drive.. Now our lab puppy is a bit different... We have to crack the front passenger window so he can get her nose out to sniff for rabbits as we drive..

We are thinking of getting a dog partition for the dogs.. and have them confined to the "far back"..

Actually if I am going on the highway or will be driving more than a few miles the Beagle is harnessed into the back seat (which she hates).

I bought a rear seat cover that fits pretty well at PetsMart a few years ago and she sits on that with the rear seats folded down. She can still walk around but does not have free range of the Element.

Let me know if either of them are single. It's cold and lonely in Minnesota.

of course I'm right, why would I lie about my cousins???

They are both married and have children, and both still live in Iowa. Jamies trying out for something else but I dont remember what it is I don't talk to them a whole lot. All of us are too busy with our own lives I guess. But...I have 19 cousins, most of them girls and we're all pretty!

I'm just over the river, in the forgotten state of Nebraska. Nebraska isn't even listed as a state in any of these forums... shut out of the midwest, shut out of the west. But since I'm originally from PA and an east-coaster through and through, I can understand why...
