Revisiting removing wax from the plastic panels

I tried removing the wax stains from my plastic panels this weekend. I tried the least toxic approach first (dish detergent in warm water and scrub spot with toothbrush and wipe with damp rag). It did fade the spot. But the faded spots are still there. Did anyone try mineral sprirts yet?

WD40 on a rag works great. No ill effects yet and its been 2 weeks.... :roll:
