Greetings...
This forum rocks! I purchased an element about a month ago and have been lurking around the boards reading all kinds of cool info, all very helpful.
With my stock setup when the sub at anything more than +3 I get a lot of resonance from the center console, everything is buzzing like crazy. Although I can't really tell if it's the sub cone to the console plastic. Has anyone tried to clean up the vibrations with Dynamat or like product?
Also just got my aftermarket add-on stuff. Will be keeping the stock setup for now, except using the aux for line in from the controller. Here are the goodies:
Kenwood KHD-C710 Digital Media Player 10GB (Phat Noise)
Kenwood KCA-R71FM Controller/FM Modulator
Kenwood KTC-SR903 Sirius Satellite Tuner
Kenwood CX-SR40 Sirius Satellite Antenna
I get satellite radio and 10GB of MP3's from one controller, pretty cool. This will be my Thanksgiving week project. Will post pictures from the install, still trying to decide where to put all this stuff.
