I'm about to mount some equipment under the front passenger seat, curious what methods folks are using? Is it safe to drill into the floorboard and use self tapping screws? I'm concerned about brake/gas lines or electrical stuff.
Cheers!

Dub, I managed to install my amps under each seat, onto the seat rail "tabs" themselves.
I first mounted the amps onto a 1/4" ply board that fit snugly between the rails (I think 15" wide) and then bolted them each onto the seat rail "tabs".
These "tabs" can be located by sliding the seats as far forward as possible. Behind the seats, you'll see them on each rail, directly in front of the plastic floor trim panel.
I wrapped each ply board with thin, black "trunk liner" material, mounted the amps, then mounted the ply boards onto the seat rail "tabs" and walla, amps are cocealed, secure and I did'nt drill into the floor.
