My wife and I purchased our element a few months ago. We notice after a few washes that the plastic panels started to fade and appear blachy. Has anyone had this problem. If so how can I fix it. I live on the West Coast It could be the salt air although I haven't noticed this problem on other E's. I'm also wondering if it could be the hard water we've washed it with. Should I use a brush? Should I use wax on the panels? Is there an Armorall product I can use? Please help. :?

use back to black on the panels it shines them up like brand new and protects :-D

the most popular recommendation is the aero 303 protectant. i found a bottle at the local ace hardware. it costs $10/bottle, but one application has kept my plastics looking as new for 8 months so far.
