Alright, so my roommate emailed me a link about getting a free ipod in early september. I told him it was a stupid spam scheme designed to put his info on a marketing list, scolded him for wasting room in my inbox with another forward, and forgot about it.

Well, I was wrong. He definitely got a free on thursday, and he doesn't get any email except from the company he chose to sign up for - he did blockbuster online, works just like netflix.

Needless to say, I couldn't sign up fast enough. You do have to give a credit card eventually, but NOT to freeipods, only to the company you want. Just to be safe, I made up an email address for it, but it looks legit. I did audible.com, a completely encrypted site, and yes that link above actually refers to my account so I can get a freeipod if any of you decide to go with it.

This company is recommended by cnet.com, cnn/tech, and wired. Happy Elementing!
