: Free ipod
travelingmatt2003 12-04-2004, 02:42 PM Alright, so my roommate emailed me a link about getting a free ipod in early september. I told him it was a stupid spam scheme designed to put his info on a marketing list, scolded him for wasting room in my inbox with another forward, and forgot about it.
Well, I was wrong. He definitely got a free on thursday, and he doesn't get any email except from the company he chose to sign up for - he did blockbuster online, works just like netflix.

Needless to say, I couldn't sign up fast enough. You do have to give a credit card eventually, but NOT to freeipods, only to the company you want. Just to be safe, I made up an email address for it, but it looks legit. I did audible.com, a completely encrypted site, and yes that link above actually refers to my account so I can get a freeipod if any of you decide to go with it.
This company is recommended by cnet.com, cnn/tech, and wired. Happy Elementing!
spdrcr5 12-04-2004, 04:10 PM I also signed up and know quite a few people that have already gotten their Free iPods. Need one more person to complete their confirmation and then I will be getting mine as well.
Good luck.

It is your choice. Either the 20GB, or one of the Mini's in your color choice. They also offer a $250.00 GC to iTunes if you already own an iPod.
Theelements 12-04-2004, 11:48 PM hummmmm might be good :)
250 songs free ! :)
travelingmatt2003 12-05-2004, 07:03 PM Sorry you've seen it get out of hand, in my experience these are a calm, and good-natured folk. I'll try to keep it that way.
To those interested:
As mentioned, there are choices, and for what it's worth - if you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. That is, I'd be happy to sign up to another audible.com membership on your account (simply put, the deal rocks), if you signed up for an offer on mine.
