I love it already. Took a few friends for a ride which when I had the RSX was limited to only 1...no one would ride in the backseat. Everyone agrees, its THE roadtrip car and no one can wait to just pile in and head away somewhere. Loving it!

Congrats and good color choice! Yup, I agree that the E is definitely the ultimate road trip vehicle. I've taken a couple already and one of the things I'm sure you'll enjoy is the performance. For a box on wheels, she sure can move!

I'm still on break-in so I haven't pushed it yet but just doing a small half throttle push to merge in traffic and I was astounded that this heavy thing actually moved. Bad thoughts running through my head like adding an Intake, header, exhaust, having the ecu reflashed by Hondata (do they make an e program?). I am just trying to remember what a nightmare it was to bring my RSX back to stock just to get rid of it and hopefully that will keep me in check.

Nice license plates...judging by the Huntington Honda plate frame it looks like we have a Long Islander here...cool. Good luck with it.

Wow, well this is what mine used to look like...

I know your pain, I've heard it all as well..."what are you doing?" "how can you go from the RSX to that?!?!" "Don't you miss it?" "It's a friggen box are you nuts?!?!"

I kinda do miss the speed a little but on the street was only bound to get me in trouble. I am proud of the fact that I got a N/A 4 banger street legal car to run mid 13's.

I am glad that I am no longer associated with the "import ricer" crowd. The cops know that only older people have been seen driving an Element...so when I do drive down DPA (local car hangout) they don't even look twice at me, whereas before if I sneezed the wrong way they'd pull me over.

That was a beautiful Si. Do you miss it at all?

The basslink was only good with a clean signal from RCA's on an aftermarket HU. I had friends who used the Type-S stock HU and blew theirs up. With my Alpine system, it had a nice thump to it, but not insane.

Before that I had two Alpine Type-R 12' subs. (Still have those and a few other things for sale) Those things were too insane...took them out for something a little tamer.

All in all I loved the basslink.

Will def put you on my AIM list...mine is my user name here. Where in NY are you from? Would love to meet up and check out your ride.

Oh yea, and potholes+winter=0wn3d!!! The Mugen SS suspension I had was better, but I still had the fear it wouldn't cut it. Wanted to get out before the winter hit this year and I'm glad I did. BRING ON THE SNOW!!!

Congrats and welcome to the E team. My bro lives in Plainview and bought his Odyssey at Huntington. They blew other Honda dealers in the Long Island/Metro area away. My bro got his Odyssey at a few $ over invoice.
I went to Marlton, NJ Langhorn, PA and finally Planet Honda in Union, NJ and just managed to get a few $ off of MSRP. My bad for getting a new model a couple of months after it's introduction (Feb, 03). F_ _ _ car dealers

Yea new models they won't budge on cause they know someone is willing to pay.

Got mine for $19200. I thought that was a pretty good deal for an EX 4WD.
