Not offroad... but 4wd nonetheless. I drive to work on some hilly, country roads. most of those roads were covered in ice this morning. Everyone going real slow and lots of slipping. One hill in particular, had all RWD's sitting in the shoulder or in the ditches. a few FWD's were stuck too, just spinning wheels trying to climb the hill. a few 4wd's and I crawled by everyone. We had to stop on the hill a few times, and when I would take off gently, the front wheels would slip some, then the back would slip for a sec then I would begin crawling up the hill. I was again impressed with the Element. It was awesome.

I had my first experience with ice this morning.

Coming from FWD I had high expectations on the mobility of a 4WD vehicle in the ice and snow. Yes I know it doesn't help when trying to stop but I was thorougly impressed with the capability of the E. Very happy so far.
