I Was Wondering If Anyone Has Tried To Put Like 235/75/r15 At's On An E. If There Is Any Can That Person Tell Me What Offset Wheels They Used?

Look at the winter tire threads. Some people have been using 15" steel wheels because they are cheaper and may be easier to find. I don't recall what size tires they've tended to use. I suspect 215/75/15 which is close to stock in diameter, and narrow is good when it comes to snow.

Since a 235/70/16 has enough clearance with stock wheels (just clearing the strut tower bell top), I suspect a 235/75/15 will clear as well with the same offset (45mm I believe). Their overall diameters are similar. If anything the 75 profile tire will clear better, since it probably has a narrower tread width (6.85 v 7.4 for the Cooper AT). People have also be successful with 225/75/16 size, while taller has an even narrower tread (e.g. 6.4).

I bought 4 Accord 15" steel rims and put P215/75R15 Goodyear Ultra Grips on them. I've used them for about a month now and they seem to work very well both on snow and ice. The wheel bolt circle for the Element is 5 x 114 and the offset is 45.

tHE ORIGINAL REASON WHY I WANTED TO FIND OUT WAS THE FACT THAT THERE ARE FAR MORE AGGRESSIVE TIRES AVAILABLE IN THE 15 INCH SIZES THAN THAT OF THE 16. i JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BRAKE CALIPER WAS NOT GOING TO GET IN THE WAY. IF IT IS A TRIED ANDTURE DEAL I'M PROBABLEY GOING TO GO WITH THE GOODYEAR MT/R AS I GET SUPER DEALS ON THEM. SO THANKS FOR THE INPUT GUYS, I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS!! :)

Another Quick Question. The 15 Inch Wheel You Guy Put On, Were They Steel Wheels Or Alloys. I'm Asking This Because The Alloy Wheels Tend To Be Little Thicker In The Middle And Tend To Rub On The Brake Caliper.

I recall one mention of 15" wheels rubbing on the brake calipers, but that was some time ago, and I don't know how you'd search for it.

I did have problems with caliper rubbing when I tried the 16" alloy wheels from my RAV4 on the Element. The inner face of the spokes were scored after a drive of a few feet. However the steel spare from the RAV4 fits fine.

So indeed the dishing of the inside of the wheel, rather than the overall diameter may be the significant issue.
