I grabbed pic from someone here's website and started photoshoping... Sorry.. too lazy to take a pic of my SMM. Is this E even slightly possible in the real world?

unfortunately there is no current lift kit for the E that is readily available. there have been rumors of ones from overseas but nothing has materialized that you can order right now that i know about.

we did a milder photoshop lift on mine too:

A while back someone was selling an extended roof basket on eBay. It required an extra set of mounting points welled to the roof near the tailgate.

The question of lifting the Element has come up periodically, but with rumors of kits, but I have not seen any actual example. Keep in mind that even if you can fiddle with the springs and shocks, you still have to adjust the length of the drive shafts. Classical lift jobs are done on trucks with solid axles. With independent suspension it is harder.

Extreme lift is very difficult with FWD-based vehicles. The angle that the half-shafts would have to drop down from the transaxle is too steep for most CV joint designs. Practically anything with an extreme lift is a "traditional" 4x4 on a RWD base, with a transfer case in the middle of the vehicle, with the front and rear driveshafts descending from there.

It would be possible to do an "appearance-only" lift by simply dropping the front subframe (with drivetrain) and lifting just the body. However, it accomplishes nothing - your oil pan is still dragging on the ground, relatively speaking.

That would be as high as I would got and that would be perfect, I don't know why honda didn't do some improvments the the E in '05 like it should be like "2 higher, have better tires, and more power there is no reason there shouldn't be a factory TSX engine option I'd pay an extra $2 or $3k when buying for 200hp
