Just want to say to all of you who had those grizzly eyes staring, and those of you who have heard some sh|ty remarks about your E...

Next time you hear this, make sure you tell that person or persons that Honda hold more VALUE then their CAVELIERS or Berretta that they are driving.

Of course it doesnt matter what anyone thinks about your car, but what how you feel about it...it does piss me off to hear smartass remarks from some, but then i realize that I love my E and that Its the FIRST of its kind, possibly is what is to come in the future of cars and SUVS/Trucks. With the Economy pushing for more efficient products of choice, YOUR E is AT THE TOP OF THE GAME, ...I could go on about the great things this vehicle offers.

Soon, I want to start a new subject on what everyone uses there E for mostly.

Well, Happy DRIVING TO ALL, and HOPE TO SEE MORE E's ON THE ROAD!

Jesse - as you have found out, this is not a car for the insecure or timid.

The first day I drove my car to work, one of the other managers, who I happen to very friendly with, walked into my office and said "Is that your new ugly box in the parking lot?"

I smiled and laughed it off....but deep inside my "Evil Twin" wanted to come back with a snappy comeback about her oh so common Ford Explorer....but instead I just simply said "You either love the Element or you hate it....I happen to love it, and that is all that is important."

I think she then felt bad and said she was happy that I was happy....I think owning an E is all about being happy with who you are and what you stand for....and not being afraid to swim up stream!

I'll just ask where they got their degree in good taste from.

Although I haven't had too many wisecracks, it really struck me how rude some people are in saying how ugly the car is. Who ARE they to comment on your choice of vehicle? It would not be socially acceptable to make comments on your clothes, children, color of your house, why should it be ok to make comments on your car, no matter what the make and model?

Too many parents forgot to tell their children. "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".
I traded in a '95 3-door VW Golf that had the factory "bright seafoam", an irridescent green that poitively glowed in the dark.
I felt that I was getting a touch more covert with my black Element, but I actually had to write an office-wide email saying I owned it and what it was. Several times people have asked me questions, only a couple of times have they said negative things. I just tell the rude ones that opinions are like *******s, etc.....

It does not really matter what kind of car you have, you can always find others who will have negative comments about it.

Just enjoy your E!
