I have no complaints thus far. They seem to be doing just as well as the metal panels. I have just under 3k miles now...

Don't really understand the big deal about painting the plastic panels. All Bumper Cover on 1990+ cars are made of ABS plastic. AS long as you use Flex Additives to your paint, you should be fine!!! :)

I really like the pictures so far. Empires photo is really cool and there is an interesting quality, to the light, that is captured in Phreaxer's images. There something neat and different about the light outside, during the winter and after a snowfall when the sun comes back out.

It is snowing right now and we are expecting a great deal more through Thursday. I hope I will get some good pictures to post.

I had my E for less than 2 days before I swapped the OEM alloys over to winter wheels and tires in early November. It looks like it will be a pretty snowy winter so I'm glad I made the swap when I did.

The tires are a non -branded Goodrich tire - "winter ride". They are in common use in this neck of the woods. Although they are an older design (nondirectional) they seem to be good in snow and on ice and have a relatively hard compound so they should wear well. I run Nokian Hakkapelliitas on my other vehicle and, in comparison, these are pretty good. They were also half the price of the Nokians!

I am jealous of the two guys on top from Madison. We didn't get half of what you two did (reported 18") here in Milwaukee/Waukesha (3"-6") Got the board rack locked and loaded waiting for another snow fall to come my way. would have posted a pic but she's been sleeping in the garage so it wouldn't show much. Hope you two are having fun! I'll be making my way out there soon to do some riding (Cascade Mountain)

7:00 a.m. December 24. So far, only 1/3rd of the snow the current weather system is forecast to deliver. I had to go outside and "play" in it, just for the fun of it. In this pic, I'd stopped at the 12"+ berm in an unplowed parking lot, just because I could. ;-)

Up until this point, merely front-wheel-drive was just fine (love my Pirelli jumbo-gumbo tires), but I confess, the rear axle kicked in when I drove through it because the whole belly was floating on the snow berm. 8)

(Those Pirellis already have 50,000+ miles on them, too, so I guess they're still good for another winter!)

Perhaps more pics to come as the snow continues to pile up during the next 48 hours...
