What's the best way to install the antenna? I want to install my Sirius Sportster this weekend into the E.

When I had my Sportster, a guy at Best Buy ran the cable under the glovebox and up and out the passenger door up by the windshield. He tucked it under the rubber lip above the windshield and ran it to the center of the roof. He had it done in about 5-10 minutes.

Here's what it looked like from the outside.

did he install the mounting bracket to? We bought ours from Best Buy and was thinking about letting them install it.

Yes, I did. I need to update that thread with additonal pictures of the mounting bracket and such. It's very easy to install. After running the antenna, the power and AUX jacks are right there. Plug in and you're ready to go

The guy at the Dickson City Best Buy did the exact same thing. At first I wasn't too keen on it, but it does look kind of cool.

any pics would be helpful because the install at best buy is backed up by like 2 weeks and I don't want to wait that long.

Huh.... I would have never thought of a front mount. I just figured the best way would be to run it to the back.

we actually for now have it sitting on the dash and it works well there. We are going to mount the 3M stuff up there as well on our sticky pad with the antenna beside it for now until we figure out how to run the wire for the antenna.

No photo because you can't see it.

I placed my XM ant under the plastic roof pieces, smooth and out of the way.
