I just noticed it today on my new E (just 4 days old). When I put pressure on the seat (when I lean back) the fabric/seat "pops", it sounds like a cheap office chair, and I kind of feel it. Imagine having to lean on poster board and then whenever you release pressure it snaps back into place. Is this normal wearing in? Or should I just call the dealer and ask them to fix it?

did it smell funny?
Just Kidding.....search the site for the "rocking chair" syndrome....or driver's seat bushings...etc.

I found a loose seat to floor bolt and the dealer torked all the bolts...no more funny sounds except the ones coming from me.

My thought exactly. Blame it on the dog.
Lacrossedragon,I'm a medium to heavy set guy and I know when I reposition myself in the seat or reach for my wallet at the toll booth,I do hear what sounds like air escaping from the seat back, almost like a sigh of relief. And no,it did NOT smell funny.Maybe it's just the E's way of saying I need to lose some weight. :x

Heh, I doubt that's the case for me. I'm 6'2" and 156 pounds. Still, I'm going to bring it by the dealer/repair on Saturday to see what they think. Plus I always take pride of my "it's the dog"s. :)

My seat does the exact same thing. It feels like the airbag in the drivers seat is crunched or something. It almost feels like when you squeeze in a water bottle and then it pops out.
Did you ever take your car in? Mine only has 500 miles on it. I am going to take it in soon...

These people are not crazy. My seat does the same thing. At first i thought it was a loose part inside the seat back then noticed it is a pop. It gets annoying sometimes cause i shift around a lot in my seat. Is there a fix? This has nothing to do with loose bolts on the floor. The seat is secure

The front seat has some plastic bushing in it that can be replaced by your Honda dealer. The bushing wear out an cause the seat to rock backwards.

These people who are having the seat noise problem ARE NOT experiencing problem with the rocking seat. These are actually two separate instances.
There is a post on this forum with someone who had the *back* of their seat (meaning the part your back rest against) making noise when they would lean back into it. This is not the same rocking loose-bolt problem the seats have - it's a whole other issue.
From what I remember, it was because one of the springs had unhooked on one end inside the back of the seat. Once the spring was re-hooked the sound was gone. There have been several people on this site who have had a problem with the seat making a popping sound that comes from the back of the seat. Just take it into the dealer and tell them that you would like them to take a look at the inside support of the back of the seat. I will bet this problem is very minor and only requires re-positioning whatever is making noise (be it a spring or some foam or whatever).
The seats do have zippers on them, so if you wanted to you could just take a look yourself...
Just dont disconnect the airbag.
#### EDIT #####
I should say that if you are leaning into the back of your seat and feel it rock just a *tiny* bit, then you will need your bushings replaced like the others have said above. But if your noise is coming from the back-rest part of the seat (and you can "feel" it coming from there), its most likely just a torqued spring or something came unhooked. I've heard its pretty common.
