Okay so my husband and I are trying to become the next Tiger (yeah right!) We totally suck at golf....but have so much fun playing a round on a weekend....and we have a another couple that we play with....sometimes we drive together to the course....has anyone come up with a good way to store golf bags in the cargo area? Possibly with bungees or with some sort of rack?

I just hate the thought of throwing 4 golf bags in a heap in the back....golf clubs are just too darn expensive to beat up like that!

Also if anyone has pictures of what you have come up with let me have a look-see!

Thanks a Bunch!
Diane :O

Can't the clubs lay behind the rear seat? No harm in having them horizontal as far as I know... :?

Hey Diane,

Try using a scuba tank rack, the horizontal one that keeps the tanks from rolling around. Haven't used it on a golf bag though...maybe there are stand up racks for SCUBA tanks or for golf bags.

check this kinda thing out:

The tank holders may fit...you may be able to install the adjustable one if you golf a lot. I'm guessing the bag would fit because its not stiff like a SCUBA tank. I may have to try that...I could use both.

*Edit*

OOH, better idea-use some bungee to tie off from the hidden hooks around the bag or something like that

i can't fit my bag in the back without taking my driver out.

it really sucks cuz in my 1991 accord i can fit 5 golf bags in the trunk with no problem... but the E is a bit skinny.

I have the same problem. I have to take my woods out in order for my golf bag to fit.. But once its taken out it fits perfectly in the back.. It don't move around or anything.. Im pretty happy with it...

Hey - Just Lay one of the rear seats back and 3 or 4 golf bags should fit nicely. I did it last weekend and it worked pretty well.
