I lived in Aliso Viejo, and I went to Devin at Audio Advice in La Crescenta. It was WELL worth the drive. He works on every car as though it is his own. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Al and Ed's also do good jobs. Well, at least the one I went did a great job fixing the mess that another local installer F****D up. It's sounding beautiful now. They're a chain audio installer throughout SoCal. Should be one in Brea.

What type of work did you have done? Photos?

Oops...you were looking for a "custom" install...not sure how customized you are talking about. So maybe Al & Ed's might not be the place for you...not sure what they are capable of besides typical installs. All I know is the one in Ontario does custom work.

My experience was I just had them fix a typical install of a headunit. I originally had a small audio shop install an Eclipse headunit for me...but all I heard was noise afterwards. Took it to Al & Ed's, they said "HOLY S#IT, where the hell did you get this installed??", then ripped it all out, and reinstalled it for me.
