I went shopping with my sister this weekend- left my E at her house and rode with her. Big mistake! My 16 year old niece backed right into it! Over 50 ft away! She said she was late for work, didn't see it (bright orange in the blazing sun), and didn't look in her rear-view mirror. She got it good! The driver's side rear door and rear plastic quarter panel will have to be replaced. Hope it doesn't take too long to get the parts. :cry:

As I walk through the valley of the shadow... well maybe not that sad but close. Sorry about your E. Isnt it always worse when it is family because you are so mad but dont want to be mean to family... Hope you get the parts soon and get ur E back to its oldself again.

I think people seek out new cars to destroy. The first day I had mine, someone ran into the back of me, then drove off like nothing happened. I was lucky it was only a bumper tap.

My grandfather is notorious for backing into the cars of other family members, most often when the car is only a week old or less. Needless to say, when I visit, I park on the street... and not directly across from his driveway!

Well, I should here something today about the availability of parts. Wish me luck! My sister lives out in the country- guess I'll have to park in the field next time! :shock:

Just got the good news! My parts are in and I'm takin' her in Monday to be fixed. Now I bet they give me a Metro as a rental car!
