A few pics of my NBP Element lowered with the Eibach Pro Kit, 18x8.5 +35 offset Enkei OR52 wheels, and Nitto NT555 245/45-18 tires

Looks mighty nice, elemenz. In fact a friend of mine sent me one of your pics last night, just to make me feel "bad". I think there was some hidden motive in her doing so, since the cost of your tire and wheel package is probably roughtly equal to a plane ticket I'm purchasing soon. :)

Thanks for the props hownowcb. I actually got a pretty good deal on the wheel/tire package, but your friend might be on to something there :)
By the way, where exactly are you flying? :-D

Elementz:

Great look!

I spent a lot of time on Tire Rack's website yesterday checking out possible combinations of tires whose diameters wouldn't mess up the speedo too much. It looks like 235/55 - 18's are a popular size with all the tire companies, and are a virtual clone of the stock tire diameter. Where I live, 55-series are a much more practical choice for dealing with potholes!

So was your size a rub-free fit? No clearance problems?

I dont have any rubbing anywhere, and I have it lowered almost 2". 235/55 will clear fine, especially if you have your E at stock height.
