Great looking rims!!! Sometimes older means better!!! Best looking rims i have seen on a "E" in my opinion.

245/70/16 fit? Wow!!! I thought the biggest size was 235. I guess I need to change my options for winter tires for next year.

well. i had 235/70/16 BFG KOs and they worked fine w/o problems on stock height. But after i raised the car a bit, i got more room, plus i can use a bit wider tire too so w/o having to go 75 which raises the overall tire height by half an inch, the 245/70 is only about .1 to .2 higher than the 235/70. so its obvious if there is room, it'll work. However, the overall width would cause a problem. thats why i went with 16x8 tires with lower offsets. their in the 20s, stock offsets are around 40s. this pushes out the wheel, and especially pushes the tire away from the shock tower. THe tires stick out about half an inch to an inch which makes it look like a lifted truck. I just love it! It splatters water all over the place. I feel bad for ppl drivin behind me.

I also spaced out the rears by over 8mms to match the fronts because the element is a tad bit wider in the rear so w/o the spacers, the wheels actually sit "inside" the fenderwell. With it, it looks even allowing all 4 wheels to look right where they belong.

You raised the E?

How?

What did you use?

Give us the details.

I would love to raise mine about an inch or so.

Nice Looking "E"!!! - I think im gonna drop the idea of 18's on my E... My Ro_ja formula 5 wheels are on its way (18x7+42) & pirelli 225/55/18. well. after seeing yours, i should have followed my first instinct-mugen mf10 17x7or8+38 in bronze w/ 225/60/17 or 235/60/17 on 8's. im still a believer of taller rubber = better ride!... o well..

Isn't it fun!!!! With my Civic I was never satisfied. I always wanted something better and newer. But with my 18's on my E, I'm satisfied.

Hi,
I noticed that you got old skool rims that might be off a rwd vehicule and I was wondering if you knew if toyota truck rims would fit and clear an element?? Any reply will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Elemento
