Anyone have experience with this brand? I am cross shopping tires, a replacement set of 20" for my truck, and an 18" set for my wife and I's new E. They seem extremely reasonably priced. The model is the Ventus ST RH06, it is over $90 a tire cheaper than anything else in the 295/45ZR/20 size for my truck.

Again, any impressions...good or bad

Thanks

Im rolling on 245/40ZR/20's and happy with them. i have the Ventus 104 models. they are low cost, functional and also an awsome looking tire.

You do realize that the diameter of the tire is going to be 30.5" and the width 11.6 right? That might throw off you speedo since the stock tire is only 27.9" in diameter. also i think the front will rub at some point depending on your offset since you are going 3.1" wider than stock.

Happy trails.

It sounds like he is going for the 20" on his Truck and getting 18" for the E.

My Wife had Hankooks on her car (16 inch, low profile) and she blew 3 sidewalls within a 6 month period (hit a large enough pothole and -BOOM!). Granted the roads where we live are in horrible shape, but still I thought they should have done better. I put 4 new Kelly Chargers on last year and have not had a repeat blow out.

I emailed Discount Tires Direct twice and they insist that Kilgoja's tires do not exist! I even referenced the 1010Tire.com page and they said...well here I'll past it.

"Greetings from Discount Tire Direct.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unfortunately this page is incorrect. I actually spoke with
Hankook directly and they informed me that the RH06 is not available
in this size. Thank you for e-mailing Discount Tire. Have a
great day!

The Hankook "DynaPro AS RH03" tire was the 3rd best rated by Consumer Reports in their November 2004 review of SUV and pickup tire ratings.

Price they gave was $80 each.

This is what I am looking to put on my E in the next month or so. I plan on having it done by CJ's Tire and Automotive Service ( cjtire.com ) I am in the western Philly suburbs (not sure if CJ's is a local chain or nationwide)

check out www.wholesaletireoutlet.com or call them at 1-800-519-9183, I spoke at length with Brad. I got the Ventus RH06 in a 295/45/20 for my truck, for $138 each. 1010 Tires and others had the same tire for as much as $239 each.

Shipping kills, but their pricing is unbelieveable. Hankook's have been getting great reviews, and they are the dominating tire of choice in many SCCA events. Hankook is following the performance blueprint of many others, YOKO and BFG to name a few. I used both those companies soft compund race rubber in the late 80's-early ninities. Great race support, yielded a great product.

Hankook are an up and coming tire manufacturer in the USA. They are a tremendous value, considering the quality.

I live in MD and have two 245x35x20 Hankook Ventus K104 and two 255x35x20 Hankook Ventus K104 new tires (less than 100 miles) if anyone wants to buy them and pick them up or meet me somewhere nearby.

I'll sell them for $100 each.
