My 'original' EXwSCnose had the best of both worlds but I crinkled it up a whole bunch....

I am 'borrowing' my wife's CR-V for this run, not cool but functional....

In my opinion, it is. Mine served as a "base camp" every weekend but a couple from May to August of last year in CO and WY. I've moved on to a Tacoma, with nearly the same gas mileage and much more ground clearance, but still miss my Element whenever I see one around here.

Just have to note that my Element is recognized by the loading dock staff in the data center buildings in the area -- it's always the only non-commercial vehicle. My group at work has adopted it as our "moving van" and it's insane that it can haul what we'd normally rent a big truck for.

Actually, I bet the build date on her E is July of 02. I have an 08, but the
build date on my E is July of 07. So technically, my E is 4 years old this month.
Even though I purchased my E in July of 08, and I see it as only 3 years old.
Most car manufactures start building the cars way before they are released.
I bet the build date will confirm my theory.

Just curious what you guys think?

I did this back in '08 with a set of Mustang/Bullitt wheels I purchased on Craigslist for $200, then $200 for the "Hot Coat Paint" and $100 for blank caps and orange "H's" from GraffixExpressions. They looked great for a long time and the tires started to get closed to the end of their life, (55,000mi) I started to notice little places where this paint was starting to peel close to the lugs. I came across this set of silver 2011 Mustang GT rims and tires off a car a guy purchased about a month ago and promptly re-rimed with 22's. Wanting to go all black and a little more durable, I had them powdercoated this time and am very pleased with the results. They are 18x8 with a 44 offset with 235/50/18 PZero Nero Pirellis that are practically new. $500 to the guy on Craigslist, $168 for the powdercoat, $38 for hub centric rings, and $90 for the dismount/mount & balance.

For the people that asked. The lip is off the ram to the left. Bolts up to the 4 bolts under the bumper then and cut in the middle then screwed on. It looked better moved couple inches forward but I like the fact of it being held on by bolts and screws and not just screws.

Hello everyone!

An 06 GGM model. bought in Gander Newfoundland at Simmons Honda, lived in St. John's NL for three weeks, drove across Canada through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba and then here to Saskatchewan, to it's new home, Regina.

Here it is at the Alberta border.

Alright it gets worse...

'Fuerchte nicht' means simply, "Don't be afraid."

However, 'Fruechte nicht' (see how the 'r' has dislocated), could be a simple misspelling, or translated into "Fruiting not" along the lines a less flattering term not suitable for this discussion.
I would think you probably had some fearless ancestors, and something got jumbled up in the translation.

Good luck with your E. I am on my second one!

Not too many people know what type of dog that is ,glad there are some dog lovers here. BTW where did you get the SC console ?:|

Oliver is the Swissy, age 2,140 lbs, Finnegan is the Choc lab,age 8, 85 lbs ........Ollie does have a sled and harness to pull the kids around in the winter. He can't get enough of pulling that sled , I have to say enough. If I let him , he would sleep in a snow mound ,or a driving storm....no worries for him .

Well, I have had my E for close to two years and I have yet to post any pictures of it on here. I had some time so I thought I would throw up some pictures and see what kind of comments I got. I originally bought the E wrecked with only 70,000 miles. It took me a while to find all the parts at decent prices to put it back together. Once it was fixed, I had it painted and some decals installed. Now it's an E only an Ohioian can appreciate.

What it looked like the day I brought it home:

Awesome. My girlfriends just bought 2009 EX which took forever to find because she only wanted silver. The reason you ask, because she wants to do exactly what you did by turning it into a Ohio State Buckeye Helmet.

Great job looks awesome. Where did you get the stripe decals?

I took it to a local car wrap business. I asked the owner if he could do it. At first he was a little hesitant because he was worried about copyrights and trademarks. He finally agreed to do the stripe and he also blacked out the door pilars as long as I didn't tell anyone where I had it done, lol. However, he refused to do the buckeye leaf stickers. I found the buckeye leaf stickers online. I hope this helps.

This weekend I'm heading up to the mountain and will pics of it running throughout the snow and when I say mountain I don't mean to go skiing, I mean back country roads that I go wheeling on in my off-loading rig (1993 Isuzu Amigo).

Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it! I am a Bayou-Lacombe Choctaw Indian and we are born with a natural affinity for the land and Mother Earth. So we aren't as far apart as you might think! ;-)

Your beautiful photograph reminded me of something that Steve McQueen once said... "I would rather wake up in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth.”

Here's mine.
Its pretty plain compared to some of the gorgeous E's in here, but i'm still loving it!
I've wanted one since they first came out, but couldn't give up my Jeep Wrangler... Now the Jeep is strictly a fun summer/off roading vehicle (its done its time as a daily driver). The Jeep was always a little small for my needs, as you can see!

Upgrades so far:

-Command Start (unique to me because its a 5 speed)
-Cruise Control (rostra)
-Lowes recycled rubber mats
-New seat covers (to cover cracking seat)
-In dash DVD Deck
-i-vtec decals
-"Winnipeg Jets" license plates!
-Upgraded to newer OEM wheels

Planned Upgrades:

-Yakima Rack
-UHAUL receiver hitch
-Bed platform (not sure what style yet)

5% all around plus the 5% low banner, and I dont even get second glances from local law enforcement. They are pretty cool here about tint.

Nice, I sure wish they were like that around my way. :-)

I tinted my E' all around except for the front doors with 2% which on an SUV type vehicle is legal in my area. Although my front windshield strip is not legal. All well, hopefully they won't mess with me for having it and if they do hopefully they'll let me rip it off in front of them and not ticket me.

Wow, 12mpg... It looks like a toy, the lens, detail and the massive looking water drops make your E look like a scale model!

Went to visit my high school biology teacher in Port Stanley (about an hour from where I live) to help fix his Prelude. Went to a local restaurant for an amazing perch dinner then reminisced about old high school days over some wine and amazing lakeside scenery.

Before I left I took some pics at the water front. This was the best one of them all and not too shabby given the fact it was taken with a BlackBerry Bold phone :-D
