JayVizo 04-17-2008, 04:08 PM The pics would have come out CRYSTAL CLEAR... If my daughter did not mess with the settings on my cam w/o me knowing... Grrrrrrrrr!!!:mad::cry:
boxedup1 04-17-2008, 08:08 PM heres mine. teins coilovers and 235/60/16 on stock ex rims51716
JayVizo 04-17-2008, 08:13 PM ^^^ Love the sittin stance with the stockies!!! I would love full coilovers instead of my TEIN BASIC springs...But they do...
Do u have camber kit in the rear...Noticed the wheel bowes from the top...SPC make a nice kit (I have em...) and of course INGALLS.
boxedup1 04-17-2008, 08:40 PM yup rear camber kit is on. its ingalls. rear sts a -2.5 rear camber. thanks for the compliment, hopfully i can pull some rims soon. the 20w/drop look good. hows the ride?
Heather 04-17-2008, 11:10 PM Haha, yeah, that's a hammock for sure! Just installed it a week ago. Don't have any pictures of anyone in it yet, and honestly I haven't spent much time in it yet (see pic 2, it's still cold and ocasionally snowy here)... but I'm looking forward to some spring camping. And I believe with the sunroof removed it would be possible to actually fly a kite from the hammock out the sunroof :-)
Cheers Heather, and what a great name! Every Heather I know is an absolutely fun and outstanding person.
Alchemy::
Please share pics when you happen to get to enjoy your hammock! It's been a little cold the pass few days here - but we are already in the 70's and 80's here! Winter is so short here and summer seems to last 3/4 of the year! LOL
And thanks! I hope I live up to that! I definitely try to be a good person! And I am definitely fun!! I guess owning an E is a sign of that! ;-)
JayVizo 04-18-2008, 04:45 AM yup rear camber kit is on. its ingalls. rear sts a -2.5 rear camber. thanks for the compliment, hopfully i can pull some rims soon. the 20w/drop look good. hows the ride?
Once you drop the E... There goes the ride...But... I must say... NO DIFFERENCE from the 18's to the 20's!!! and really no difference from the time I did install the springs and lowered it... Of course different from stock...But suprisingly...NOT BAD!
boxedup1 04-18-2008, 07:22 AM good deal jayvizo. ineed to get the rims for this season. its just how to sneak tyhem past the wife:rolleyes:
JayVizo 04-18-2008, 09:16 AM I actuall have my 18's (Black/polished lip DRIFTZ 5 spoke split w/tires) FOR SALE on the trade post... Good Luck with the wife ^^^ ... They are not as dumb as we would like them to be... They just put up with our crap! LOL!

follysurfer 05-02-2008, 06:44 PM Morning E-ple!
is that an eno hammock? Cause i have one and i tried hanging it in my car and laying in it, it was a little sketch. I attached one end into the child car seat clip in the roof and the other end into the driver chair, it just felt like the seat might break. I still use the child seat clip, but i attach the other end now onto a friends car or a tree.

Welcome! how was chiropractor school been? What modality are you doing?
You should post a proper hello in the greeting and introductions when you get a real picture of your E :-)
chozn4service 05-12-2008, 03:45 PM Welcome J0njoy! I really like going to my Chiropractor. Man! to get that E-stim with the hot dry towel and then having the adjustment afterward. Nothing like it. I cured or should I say, it helped me with my migraines and I only go for adjustments now when I feel the need or I'm in a bind. My doctor here in Indianapolis is Joseph Fortunato. Great guy and a real people person!
Again, welcome to the forum, post some real pics you and the Element and there are a lot a great guys out your way to help you do things to personalize that Element.
Take care and peace!

Nice looking car SINNERDEE
SINNERDEE 05-13-2008, 06:34 AM Thanks
Im looking forward ot the drop,I just hope camber is still going to be ok for alignment,if not ill order up some camber kits.
dancetiludrop 05-13-2008, 10:26 AM SINNERDEE - You will definitely need a new camber kit for the back, or your wheels will toe in.
EarCanD 05-13-2008, 05:10 PM Nice ride ! Man , your tires look low on air , I know they're prolly not but the illusion is there ~ Chris
SINNERDEE 05-13-2008, 06:19 PM Yah I actually checked it before I moved it after the pic

the kits are easily accessible
anyone here done the eibach springs ??
did you need front and rear camber kits ??
its a whole new ride now and gets lots of looks
it is 4 1/2 inches lower and next to a stock element it loos like a dwarf
getting lots of looks though
dancetiludrop 05-18-2008, 11:28 PM There is no second guessing....when you lower an E you HAVE to replace the rear camber.
Eww-an E 05-19-2008, 12:08 AM SINNERDEE,I'm definitely liking the look,nice job.
SINNERDEE 05-21-2008, 09:27 PM yah camber kits are here tommorow

Your ride will definitely look even better if you were to remove those side steps, they really don't look so good on an lowered E':) Personally...I don't like the look of side steps on any E' Also ditching the roof rack sounds like a great idea too,it would really clean up the whole look.
dancetiludrop 05-22-2008, 06:23 PM I would have to disagree on that one....I've seen lots of lowered E's with sidesteps that look awesome! Just check out the Tuner Style thread.
Here's a good example....

This ride looks wild, but I kinda like it!!!
Element Art 05-23-2008, 10:23 PM I painted my front center bumper section black in a feeble attempt to keep up with Chozn and others. I like the look though. Now, do I paint my grill bars black too? What do you think?
dancetiludrop 05-24-2008, 12:05 AM Is there anything else black on the outside art? Looks like everything on the outside is grey. If so, yes add more black or go back to the grey IMO.

...paint those two horizontal bars in SOP for a more integrated appearance, avoiding an all-black-nose...

I've seen many lowered E's with them and personally,I think the side steps just don't really go with the lowered look, they seem kinda pointless on an lowered E' anyway.

The roof garnish is black. That was one reason I thought the bumper center piece would work well black. I painted my roof garnish a month ago since it was really looking weathered. I love the roof trim in black and got the idea of doing my bumpers black but just started with the center trim to see how I liked it.
Element Art 05-24-2008, 08:24 AM ...paint those two horizontal bars in SOP for a more integrated appearance, avoiding an all-black-nose...
I hadn't thought of SOP for the grill bars. Interesting idea. I still have SOP paint from my spoiler project. Anyone have pictures of a body color painted grill?

It most certainly did over Nagasaki, - ...and the concern with that is?
These two devices (Fat Man & Little Boy) saved more US (and Japanese) lives than we will ever know!!!
This takes a bit "Big-Picture-Understanding"...
...but is generally agreed upon.

It seems like every Element is a "Work In Progress" so to speak, even the ones awaiting to be sold at the dealerships.:D
They all look nice! 12MPGlol seems like I've seen those wheels before (He say's winking). Look real nice on your sled my man! I think when you bought them the Flava transferred over with them.
Styles32, you need to tighten up that profile, you're only half done with it. Better get on it before IRV gets you.
Peace!

Mike, I agree with you! I personally know that Dance spends a lot of creative hours in his garage, and he's constantly striving to realize his ideas, and his dreams.
It is truly an incredible feeling when you finally get to the point where... form does meet function!

Alright... I must fill the masses in about this particular Element.... I even took the picture! Mokifinoki was a new acquaintance of mine last month while I was out working on a new project. I came in to Moki's facility and asked "who's driving the awesome Element?", as we E-ple do, and we got to talking about this forum, and how much all these crazy people love their E's, and just getting to know one another. Moki signed up.... she said.... all I found was a lonely 0-posts and a username. The next time I went back to Moki's facility, I happened to have my camera in tow. I emailed Moki, and said "do I have to post these for you?"
So props to Moki for getting a post on the board, hope there is more to come!
Todd

Great pics!! I love the flash idea...makes me wish I had a detachable flash.
Actually, I thought about doing something similar as well, but I was going to use my 2 million candle power floodlight :-o. I figured one good masked burst from behind the E with that puppy and then a subtle wash of MagLite over the front...should net an interesting result.:-P

PuRHART 08-28-2008, 12:33 PM yeah you can actually do it with a candle watt or a mag light and just keep moving and the camera will not pick you up just as long as you stay behind the light.

Let me say they look outlandishly kewl! I am a big fan of Kumho tires i have had a set on my Audi and for for the price and design they outpaced Yokahama and Pirrelli in my opinion.
As for the tires now, they look noisey, they look good for sand and two tracking.
What are your impressions? What do you like and dislike about them?

I've only had these tires for two weeks. There is some zzzound, but it is no loader than most A/T tires. Nowhere near the old mudders of the past. I like them better than the wranglers I had. No more squeaking at intersections and corners, wonderful in dirt and gravel. :)

E_BikeR 09-25-2008, 10:17 PM I've only had these tires for two weeks. There is some zzzound, but it is no loader than most A/T tires. Nowhere near the old mudders of the past. I like them better than the wranglers I had. No more squeaking at intersections and corners, wonderful in dirt and gravel. :)

Thanks that is awesome!!!!! I am flipping back and fourth with 2-3 choices of tires. I need to move on it next week, so I will post what I decided on. I REALLY love the look you have there with those, but I have to justify the off road tire, and I have been spending more time on the highway. Hmmmm... I hate these kind of choices, can't I just have it all!?

It's funny how the SC looks like a much bigger vehicle...
Maybe its the lowering and the panels that break it up letting it appears smaller...
