Anyone know how to remove the roof ceiling storage compartment? I have pried, pulled, looked for screws and had no luck. I figure this has to be done to replace the light bulbs.
But for now I am trying to wire in a readar detector to a hot wire from the dome light. Also thinking about modding it for a LCD TV with DVD.

Any help would be great.

i'm making a motorized track that fits the LCD screen inside the compartment and slides out and folds down.

BB & F E - here's the removal procedure from the factory manual:
1. Remove the light lenses from the map lights.
2. Remove the 2 self tapping screws
3 Pull the console down and rearward to release the clips
4. Disconnect the map light wiring harness
5. Good Luck!!
