Since I haven't seen anyone else with one -- here goes.

My Element with a Draftmaster bike rack. I can fit 3 wedgie-bikes, or two recumbents, or 1 recumbent and 1 wedgie. The two extra 20" wheels are for the bike trailer that's in the background.

I like the way it pivots out of the way so you can use the tailgate.

I had thought about a hitch mounted carrier, but my luck I'd get rear-ended by some uninsured guy with the bikes on there.
The E's insured, the bikes aren't.

Very cool rack though.

Yep, none of the other hitch racks I've seen work with a recumbent. I have two Yakima trays to hold the same bikes, but I really wasn't looking forward to roof mounting the bikes on the Element.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the tilt function moved it far enough out to lower the tailgate.

What size receiver do you have?

Hmmm, not seeing the Draftmaster photo anymore, so I'll throw mine in the thread.

Unfortunately, my tandem tray is too long to get the Draftmaster down enough to open the tailgate. I need to cut about a foot off the end of it for that and to make it easier to load the tandem solo.
