Is there any way to make my pics that I have on CD smaller so I can post them on this site? Is it possible to rewrite them to have less memory? I don't know feel free to ask questions...

Yes...its mostly resolution size more than actual file size.

Depending on the software you use it might vary. What you need is a photo editing software. Those that come with your camera, a printer etc. can work. There is a paint program packaged with Windows that will work also. Sometimes Kodak has a program attached to packages of paper that might work. Or there is the biggie, Photoshop.

In general, you want to do 2 things. Find a selection in your software for "Resizing" your photos. Or changing the "Attributes". From there you want to change the size to about 640 wide and whatever compares to your dimensions of your photo (Aspect Ratio). If there is a selection to "Maintain Aspect" choose that. When you change to 640 the program will adjust the other dimension proportionately. Then, when you RE-SAVE the picture, select .jpg for the file type and if and when asked, select a medium level quality or compression. That might say Good on a scale of Basic, Good, Best... On Photoshop, I use 6 out of a scale of 12.

In the end, you should have an image about 70 or 80K.
