Pookster, what State do you live in and percentage is it or I think they say it as WHAT percentage of light can go through it? :D

I can't really tell you the percentage. There are 4 shades. Light, Med, Dark, Limo.
This is Dark. I have always had Dark on my vehicles as Limo is just simply overkill for me. Its quite a bit easier on the air conditioner. I didn't do the sunroof yet. Waiting to see how much extra heat it gives off.

I live in the 51'st state....Canada

PookSter, please forgive this southerner but .....why would a Canadian want to get rid of heat? :? How many months of the year do you actually run the AC?
I live on the sticky-high-humidity North Carolina coast. Working on a ship in Duluth harbor one year I noticed that the Duluthians downtown had the AC cranked up when it was only 65-70 degrees out. Here that's considered cool and comfortable.
So along those lines of thinking, if a Duluthian thinks 65 degrees is hot, then I sure don't know what cold is! :o

Well, I have run the air 2 days ago as it was 80+ deg. Where I am in Canada we can run the air from April to sometimes Nov. In June July Aug it is not uncommon for it to be in the 90's with the heat index up over 110. You see, Americans all think we canadians wear snowshoes to work, but in actual fact, where I live we are at the same lattitude as Northern California.

Sorry no pics, but I limo tinted all my windows except the front two which I put 35% tint on. Looks great and even in California where the front two are illegal... I say So F%CKING what!

I always treat the law enforcement with consideration. If I am approached/pulled over, my windows are always down, engine off, and interior light on if its night. I have never had any complaints in 20 or so years, but do try to lower their stress level when approaching any vehicle of mine with dark tint.

Good point to lower the windows ahead of time. I will try to remember this even tho I will not have a dark tint like yours. (The only time I have been pulled over was when I had my motorbike, Honda CX500C no less. And that was quite some time ago.)

If you're in the GTA, check out the notice in the Canadian section about the proposed meet at the end of May.

No, I am a IT Services Specialist for a large computer firm. Just trying to boost our Canadian division of the Element Owners Club so that we might have a get-together.

If Nikki is watching this thread, please feel welcomed to visit the Canadian forum as well.

Just kidding isketerol. That would be great if you could come too Nikki. I am worried though that no one would notice my Element with you there :). Oh, and Nikki, I don't think you looked at all like that picture that was posted lol

Can anyone tell me what the percentage is of the tint that comes stock on back seat and rear windows of the E? I was wondering what to get to match that up with the driver's and passenger's windows. Or would that be too dark? I think legal is 35% here in FL...I can't find it listed in the specs for the E.

Also, are the back and rear windows a green or grey tint? They look grey to me, but specs say green...is that just for the front?

You can have the darkest tint all around the rear and back windows as long as you have two rear view mirrors. Thats the law. However, In florida I've seen dark limo tint all around. You'll be able to see durinng the day but at night the road and sidewalk will disappear when turning.
I would contact the dealer for the info on the rear glass.
Keep in mind that the front windows already have a green tint added to it that allows privacy. this may darken your glass more than the rear if you match the window film with the rear glass
