Hey Jonesy, nice looking wheels. Can you please tell me the size of the tires and did you have to modify to fit? Thanks

18X7.5 45 offset, 245/55-18 rides a hair stiffer but handles much better - looks 100$ better - the Motegi gunmetal finish matches my SOP panels nearly perfectly. No rubbing

Man I like that gunmetal look, very nice choice!

I currently have some 20's

wrapped in Faulkin Azenis 245/40z R20 9.5" width.

These are car tires, very sticky, great ride. I did notice it got a little stiffer but the grip and performance made up for it. These tires have about 7500 miles on them.

They are for sale w/tires if anybody is interested.

I don't know. I'm just not crazy about dark rims on the E. When ever I look at dark wheels, it's hard to make out the design. But to each his/her own. I have hyper silver TSW Reflex 18x8 with 255/50/18 Proxes S/T. I love them. They are a little wider then the 245/55.

I've posted some pics before but here are some more. No rubbing and of course they are a little rougher cuz of less rubber. They are Toyo Proxes S/T.

Mine are Sacchi S45 Black
245/55/18 gforce tires

Rides good - no rubbing!

I still want to put the eibach pro kit for q 1.7 drop though

Dang those definitly are Low profile tires, I rather have more rubber then more Rim. I rather keep the comfort ride without the bumpier ride meaning rough.

Im thinkn about getting 245/50/18 and no low profiles; but in due time.

With 245/50/18 you'll have less rubber then my 255/50/18. Just look at a Land Rover Freelander. Those have 255/55/18, not too much different then my Proxes S/T. I compared them and they are pretty close. And they have a good deal of tread too.

With 245/50/18 you will have LESS tire between you and the ground then with 255/50/18.

Hey Loco, try reading the whole thread or at least half a page up. NO RUBBING and A LITTLE ROUGHER!!! Also 50% of 255mm is MORE than 50% of 245mm, that means 255/50/18 is THICKER than 245/50/18!!! I can't believe I just wasted my time reading the same questions asked and answered twice! I guess I just don't have the patience that L has.

Hey L. Nice rims, they look good on your E. I looked at the Reflex on ebay also. By the way, did you ever get the TSX exhaust tip put on your E? Please post some pics if you did, I'm curious to see how the E looks with it. Thanks in advance.

I attempted the TSX tip but it looked goofy. It was too big. I'm just going to do my whole exhaust. I'll probably go with a 3.5" Magnaflow tip.

PS. thanks for the compliments

No rubbing. No milage difference. Nothing on suspension either. They are almost the same circumfrence as stock.

Hey does anyone know if 235/55/18 will fit? I'm not too knowledgeable with tires/rims however just picked up a set of 18's ff7. Any help would be appreciated. Thx! :)

Those most likely would fit. If my 255/50/18 fit then 235/55/18 should.

Thanks SRLNCLT. I just spoke with a friend of mine who said that with the rims I have (18X7.5 +45mm) a 235/55/18 will definately NOT fit.
The shop is holding these tires for me until tomorrow so I am not sure if I should go ahead and grab them. So confused :?

hardguy

I agree with L, they should fit w/ no problem. I bought some 235/50/18 to be on the safe side but ended up using 255/45/18 instead. Theres enough room there for 235/55/18.

Wicked. Thanks for the help guys. They'll definately fit. How do I know? Well because stupid me told my brother and brother-in-law to grab them while I was at work. When I got home in all my excitement I just took them to get mounted on the new rims. After coming home and cleaning the rims/wheels (they look real sharp in hyper black!) I realized that the picked up 235/65 /18! They are a pretty tight fit, but look amazing and add some height to the box :) PLUS no rubbing :-D

I am going to buy some Tire and rims pretty soon, I am planning on getting 19" and was wondering would 255/45r19 would fit since 255/50r18 fits?? just trying to get as much rubber with my 19's and dont want 18's.

Oh, and I notice that it hard to find many tires with that size I keep coming up with the Eagles and it doesnt have much ratings. Was hoping to get some toyo proxes s/t. I know someone else with 245/45r19 with perrillie tires, which i read they get bald and traction is not as good.

I seen Toyo Proxes s/t tires that do 255/50r19 which I dont think would fit with 19" wheels, would luv to get if it fitted too. Well what do you guys think? I went online and prices are reasonable. for the setup I want goes around $1,500 and free shipping. My local tire/rim shops are greedy here in NY. wanting 2,500 or so. :?

Just thought I get you guys Opinions.

Thanks Guys
