On the 9th day on the road, my E took it's first nick in the windshield ... little road pebble left a pinhead sized chip. :P That was fast! On the same day I also broke the face glass on my watch. Guess it was just a bad day for me and glass.

I feel your pain... :)

I had mine for a week and less than 1,000 miles before my windshield was cracked and my crack is growing. Can't believe it !

I even avoiding truck routes and it happened !

Yeah... I was sort of expecting it after reading the board here, but you always get that "it only happens to other people" feeling. :) Anyway, I'm going to put some Sally Hansen's 'Hard As Nails' clear fingernail hardener in the spot and see if that prevents it from spreading. It's a barely noticeable little ding, but I want it to stay that way!

Meanwhile, the auction company is coming to pick up my previous car today... I'll miss her. :cry:
