It was funny to see the other peeps driving elements that were not with us. You could see by the expression on their faces that they thought we were nuts. At least one said hey.

LOL!!! That's so true! That lady in the Green E thought we were totally insane when we asked her to park her car next to ours. :D It was really nice when that other guy said Hi.

It was great to meet everyone, and see all the cool stuff you folks have done to your E's. I got to see most of the mods I've been considering, and a few that I hadn't considered (the fishing pole mounts blew me away).
Can't wait to do it again.

hahahaha naw the pier was really packed and the wind was WAY worse than it was at HB. we didn't even bother wetting the line. :)

yeah i think i'll have to wait for some vacation time to build up before i can head out for stuff like that. i figure, if i'm going away for some fishing, i want to be away for at least a week so i can totally forget about work, you know? :D

How does Santa Monica Pier sound to everyone? Then a drive up or down PCH? Maybe barbequeing/tailgating at the beach? Plenty of parking along PCH!!

Haha, I agree with the name badges next time! It was great meeting everybody. Santa Monica Pier sounds great next time. I've never been and think it'd be a cool road trip. Maybe some of the OC peeps out there could all meet up somewhere to caravan down there?? Next time I'll bring my wife and 11mo old son as well. That is if it's at a time that works with the baby's schedule...after all, he IS the boss you know!
Anyhow, had a lot of fun, can't wait till next month! Lets get a date together now so everybody can make sure they can make it. My son's b-day is on the 7th, so any day other than that would work for me!

Thanks for putting this all together. Lynne and I had a great time and plan on attending future E gEt-togEthErs. It fun was meeting everyone and putting names to faces. We were the old farts there so don't remember names worth a damn. Name tags are a great idea! Did anyone else notice that only the orange E's had roof racks and that all (3) orange E's had racks. I'm sure Freud could EXplain this...

LOL!! I didn't notice that Frank. Thanks for pointing that out and no, you guys are not old farts. :D It was a very good mixture of people. We should most definitely do name tags next time. We'll have our nick names as well as our real names although with all your posts, I am putting two and two together! LOL :)

i try to fish every weekend just to get out of the house and stuff :) usually saturday mornings or friday nights at Belmont Pier in Long Beach, cus my buddy Mark (the other guy with me today) lives like 3 blocks up the street and we just hang out. :) if i get a confirm on this weekend i'll email you. :)
