I have a question about Nitro RC's. I used to run electric cars years ago and would like to get into nitro. My question is, is the maintenance for these vehicles a pain? Is it worthwhile to start this hobby without the possibility of them braking all the time?

I am thinking about getting a Nitro ST-15 RTR package from Tower Hobbies to start out. Am I biting off more than I can chew? Thanks guys.

I've found that I just don't like the noise and hassle of gas, so I run electric. The Stampede is a great platform, and my stepson and I run heavily modified 'pedes.
