I was wondering if anyone has used the new "Eagle One Bucket-Free Car Wash". It is basically a spray-on car wash soap; no mixing with water.
You spray it on a wet car and wash with a mitt or sponge.

Advance Auto Parts has a special on it: Buy one, get one free (the free one actually comes after you send in the rebate).

I used it last weekend. It is simply fantastic!!! I noticed immediately when sparying off a section after washing that the water was already beading up...and that is just off of soap!

And I too got it from Advanced Auto. Followed it up with E1 Wax As You Dry.

I have posted this before, but damn it looks so good.......

Your E looks good. That Eagle One stuff (both wash and wax) seems to work well.

BTW, did you get my message about the cartoon show?

Yup, just forgot to respond. That was it! Now I just got to find me a good quality DVD and not some bootleg all over eBay!

I'm glad that was it.

I'll give the DVD search a try.

About this car wash -does it only work well when your vehicle is relatively clean? Can't imagine it working well on a really muddy vehicle.

The Eagle One website says that you first hose off the vehicle, so that you would probably get rid of a good bit of mud.

You can check out the website link in my previous post above at the top of the thread, to check it out.

I like Eagle One. I completely wash the E first. Then I apply the Eagle One in sections. It's a great product to use between my 2x/year paste wax.

It suds up ALOT. You wet the car down just as you would with a bucket wash. Spray a few shots on a section, take the wet sponge and BANG, suds and nice clean car.

It really is as advertised. I did like knowing the fact that I was not reusing dirty water from the bucket.

And if your vehicle is that muddy alot will come off anyway on the prerinse.

I just wanted to add a positive vote for this stuff. I was skeptical, but I tried it today, and quite frankly, I can't imagine a better way to wash the car. A couple of spritzes here on each panel and a good wash mitt made washing the car a lot easier than with two or three buckets. The car came out great!

Don't hesitate to try this stuff!

I should add that if you are in an even bigger hurry or just lazy for a day, that the Mr Clean system works awesome as well. NO drying needed at all. Used it on my NBP a few weeks ago and low and behold NO water marks...none! Not to mention I washed 2 other cars that day...certainly makes for quick, GOOD work since no drying was needed.

Now granted it didnt have the wax shine but was squeeky clean and no water spots. Pretty good for a quick wash when time is of the essence.

I will be using my E1 products this weekend :)

I'm a big fan of the Bucket-Free Car Wash. Cleans my NBP E in a jiffy and i also use the wax as you dry stuff, but i don't need to do it after every wash. Water continues to bead up nice after a wash with this new stuff. I highly recommend.

BTW - it works great on the panels too.

I use it with EI wax as you dry as well. Great stuff. only a few sprays into to mat is needed for the whole E

I'll give one more thumbs-up for the E1 bucketless car wash. After reading so many good reviews about it, I decided to give it a go, although on my VW Gti since I did a full detail to my Element last weekend. I'll definitely be using this on my vehicles from now on. I finished it off with Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax (liquid) which gave a really good result on the Tornado red paint. I've been a long-time user of Meguiar's products and think they're great. I've used #26 wax on my E, but might think about the NXT on it next time I wax it. Oh, and the Meguair's Quick Detailer is amazing at getting impurities out of the paint inbetween wash and wax.
Cheers.

When I clean my car I rinse the wash glove under running water and then pull the soap foam off the top of the bucket. It prevents washing with dirty water.
