I'm not sure on the exact name, but are you guys using this on you whole Element, including the panels? I was looking at the stuff and I thought you guys said you were using it on the panels.

I believe you are referring to "EAGLE ONE Wax As-U-Dry" I use it on the painted surfaces, but others use it also on the composite panels. It's about 5 bucks at Walmart or auto supply stores. Very easy to use and leave a nice shine.

This Eagle one Wax as you dry is great for quick cleanup between full details of the E. Not a whole lot of protection but works on the whole darn box.

Spray it on everything...paint, panels, glass, wheels, tires, one section at a time, after you rinse your Element and dry with a terrycloth towel. Amazing stuff.

I use the Eagle 1 stuff everytime I wash both my vehicles. Stuff really brings out the shone on the paint and panels.
I do the whole exterior of my E with the stuff, windows included.

Ya know I used a basic terry cloth to dry/apply the E1WAYD, and once it completely dried I did have water spots...do you? Would it be safe to use the E1WAYD with a shammy, to help reduce water spots?

Did you spray the E1WAYD on a towel and wipe it on? I just spray it on the wet car and dry it thoroughly with terrycloth towels (I haven't used a chamois in years). By the way, the best place to get terrycloth towels is Goodwill, Salvation Army or similar thrift shops.

I use a cheapo "micro-fiber" towel I got from the autoparts store.
I spray directly onto the car while it is still wet from washing, and like is says "dry as U wax".
I never have any water spots.
Looks great to me especailly considering I never bothered to wax any of my vehicles before.

Yup sparyed it right on when it was wet. However the towel obviously gets wet, and even if you wring it out, its still wet, thus leaving spots.

I guess I just need more towels to rotate in to completely dry before the spots set in.

I use only 1 towel. I wring it out a few times during the process.
I keep rubbing til its dry.
