I currently have a SkyFi Xm unit. It sits perfectly in my "E" right under the sticks console. It sorta just blends in with whats already there. Someone on here has an image in a green "E" of how it looks...Thats where I got the idea.
Anyway, does anyone have the XM MyFi installed in the car? Where do you have it mounted?

Mike - I'm about to post some pics of my SkyFi II install. I think a MyFi would fit perfectly in the same spot.

This website has brackets for all sat. radios...same mount I believe works for all XM units...I used this for my SkyFi2...you can see mine below as well...you can hide the wires pretty well given this location to the right of the radio, and ergonomically the angles are almost perfect, and best of all with this link and associated pics you can see how it would work well with the MyFi as well:

Interesting.
I have my SkiFi mounted in what I think is the perfect place. Mine is mounted where the remot controll is mounted in that one picture.
I don't like clutter, so I dont think I would like my MyFi (or Ipod) mounted as high as in those images.
lwclancers....You can interchange the MyFi and SkiFi on that bracket?

yea you get the same bracket regardless, just a different adapter.
But I got to ask....clutter? At least you dont have to look down to change or read it, if anything it reduces clutter.

I was going to mount an Ipod in a similar spot that you have it. I didnt because it looks like it blocks the radio tuner on your regular radio.
I had a Civic before this and had to put it low, so perhaps I was used to it. Just my preferance. I like the unit to be out of the way of everything.
This isnt mine, but it is who I got the idea from.

I know what you mean. Just so you know, the tuner button would only be onstructed for a passanger. It is actually fine for the driver :)

OT - Isn't the inside of the E a thing of beauty?

Hey Mike!
Question for you, how did you hook up your XM? Are you using the FM modulator? I really want to get one of these, but am worried about the modulator quality being that I have an LX and don't have the aux input...can I get some advice from some peeps!? I want the ski-fi 2 I think...THANKS!!
