Thank you Boxer -
Upon your suggestion, I went out and got some tire sponges, and back to black and did a full detail this morning. She looks great! Buffed the back to black in real good after applying. Has a very subtle shine to it, but looks way clean. Thanks thanks thanks!

Your welcome. I use mothers and meguires stuff for everything. Try using the Mothers car wash it will leave your black E lookin sharp.
For those who dont know what Back to Black is used for, its used for the composite panneling on the exterior of your E. It cleans and protects but doesnt leave the greasy mess to attract dust and dirt.

I was just going to come on here and complain, again, about back to black. I spent over an hour doing my E. And you can still see all the swirl marks where it doesn't have equal amounts of the Back to Black. I want something that I can spray on. This stuff is hard to put on, it drips off of the cloth/sponge. I've done it twice and I'm almost out. Is 303 a spray?

Yes 303 is a spray, but as I have read is not "quick and easy" to put on. You have to be easy with it and really rub it in.
Someone did contact Eagle 1 and asked about the UV protectant, and they did confirm there is UV protectant in the E1WAUD...if that will make you feel better about the Mothers B2B

Apply it with a tire sponge, you can buy it at any auto parts stores. If it takes you over an hour to do it, you applying too much. You apply a light coat, a little goes a long way. Once it dries, you could apply it again. Ive been using Back to Black for a long time now and have not experienced swirl marks of any kind.
What are you applying it with? How much are you putting on? What are you using to buff it out?

I was just using a towel. I saturated the towel with it and rubbed it on. Then I'd have to go back over it because it's like it soaked in. Maybe I will try the tire sponge thing. I know I will do the Eagle 1 wax as you dry to. It just sounds too good to be true.

I can see how the towell would do that. The tire sponge applied it perfectly. It absorbs the liquid into the sponge and puts a nice even coat on. Then I just buffed it w/ a micro-fiber towell. No swirl marks and looks GREAT! I would probably use the same tool for the 303 if I ever got any. The tire sponge works great, thanks BOXER.

B2B might be a great product, I dunno since I haven't used it, but I still don't see why some people say that 303 is hard to put on. It's a spray, I just spray a towel, wipe it on, and then buff the excess off.
Perhaps it's the fact that I have black panels and not gray? Or maybe those with the streaking are trying to get the 303 / B2B / whatever on way too thick? Either way, neither product should be too hard to use. :)
