Got my E last night! I was going for a NBP 2WD before I went to the dealer... and came out with a MM 4WD. IT'S A LONG STORY. They told me they had the black one on the lot, we walked around looked for it, couldn't find it, they said it was in the garage for some kind of "checkup", we waited, they kept stalling, then they finally spilled the beans and said they don't have it at "THIS DEALER" and that they're in the middle of talking with another dealer to swap while we're looking around searching for it. I'm like OMG.. ANYWAY the night ended well and we got a really good deal. The MM color just totally blew me away. I did not like it whatsoever when I saw pics online but it looks really nice in person.

Thanks to Honda for makin' such an awesome car!

More pics on the way next week when I go to Pismo and Big Sur.

Yep, the MM does NOT photograph well. You have to see it in person to appreciate it.

I think it looks bad in pics because it's difficult to expose correctly, and because the metallic aspect of the paint doesn't show easily in photos.

At the EOC meet today, several members commented on the stark differences among the MM, the Satin Silver and the Shoreline Mist ..... all parked next to eachother. In pics, they all look similar, but in person, no comparison.

First mods you need : lower grille guard, bug shield.

And next is the armrest. Make sure to get the lower grill guard, either the cheap Lowes/Home Depot kind or the many aftermarket options. You need to protect the exposed radiator.

Can you recommend any aftermarket ones?

If it costs too much I'll do it the DIY way. (I saw your great thread 1stpik)

And I'm goin' up to Pismo this Saturday.. what if I don't do these applications before, is my car gonna blow up or somethin'? What I'm trying to say is, will the radiator be fine just for this week or is it something I must do at this moment?

I LOVE THE EOC!

Radiator will be just fine unless you get some serious air off a dune and plant your E nose first. It's just that rocks, chunks of rubber, small parts falling off GM cars and stuff like that chews up the AC condenser over time.
