: "Wax-As-U-Dry" new, improved, and FREE!
adreed24 05-10-2005, 11:59 PM I was in K-Mart today getting a bottle of oil for the E, and I noticed that Eagle One has come up with a new bottle and formula for the "Wax-As-U-Dry".
It now comes in a blue bottle with a new label. The label says that it now has 3 times the anti-corrosion protection as before, and it has 2 times the Carnuba wax. The corrosion protection protects the car from road salt and bird poop (of course, it doesn't say "poop" on the label, even though it would be funny).
For now, there is a rebate offer on the bottle which allows you to buy it, send in the rebate, and you actually get it for free.
They are still selling the stuff in the red bottle, but it is being replaced by the new stuff.
wmk7479 05-11-2005, 08:06 AM Sounds like their nanowax and bottle change... thanks for the info :)
jdiane 05-15-2005, 05:13 PM D'oh! Just bought a red bottle at Auto Zone and used it for the first time today. Thank you EOC for the recommendation of the WAUD!! My E looks great!
m3th0d 05-15-2005, 11:32 PM Went to Wal-Mart today and saw the new formula in the blue bottle. There was only one red, old bottle left so I got the new one. Hopefully it works the same or better.
05BlackOnBlack 05-15-2005, 11:56 PM Saw that stuff too today. I did get the bucketless car wash and it worked GREAT! Only took my like 7 or 8 sprays to do the WHOLE car! Got all soapy and sudsy too! And have a rebate for the full purchse price as well!
jvmoore1 05-16-2005, 12:04 AM does this stuff (wax and bucket less)work great on the panel parts? already planning on getting both (along with the wet tire bottle), but didnt know if i should apply it to the whole car or just teh metal part.
wmk7479 05-16-2005, 10:10 AM The Wax-As-U-Dry won't harm the panels, but I'd still use a protectant like 303 once per month. But that's me... and I'm paranoid. :)

It does indeed work great on the panels. I've been using the WAYD since day one on the panels and used the bucketless yesterday on the panels. The E looks GREAT!
jvmoore1 05-16-2005, 10:31 AM sw33t... going to Advance today to pick up all three bottles...
jdiane 05-16-2005, 08:39 PM My great looking E lasted less than 24 hours. Went out this morning to find bird poo all over the hood, and I tried to NOT park under a tree! :( The Eagle One worked great on the plastic panels. When I sprayed it on one of the back windows, it looked really waxy and funky, but after I wiped it dry and let it be for a couple of minutes, it looked clear and good. :)
gilmour25 05-16-2005, 09:10 PM What is this magical, no bucket, no wax stuff you guys are talking about????
It sounds too easy and too good to be true.
wmk7479 05-16-2005, 10:20 PM EagleOne.com (http://www.eagleone.com/)
jvmoore1 05-16-2005, 10:28 PM alright tried it tonight...
no bucket wash was awesome..... and the tire cleaner was amazing...
may have to work on teh wax part...sprayed it and it just left streaks... so guess i will have to try it again...
wmk7479 05-16-2005, 11:24 PM If it streaked you used too much of it.
One... one and a half sprays per panel... I use maybe four for the entire roof. Make sure the car is wet, spray, wipe that panel dry. Move on to the next part of the car. It should be nice and shiney with minimal effort.
ShadowBox 05-17-2005, 06:17 PM Went to Auto Zone today to get Wax-As-You-Dry & Bucketless car wash. They only had the Red Bottle on the shelf. I asked the guy at the counter, he said they were going to sell all the Red Bottle first, but he'd get it out of the back. I ended up with the 32oz Bucketless & the W-A-Y-D blue bottle, both with Try it Free coupons on them. Then during the check out he said because I purchased 2 products there was an additional 3.00 off. Everything was just over 7.00 out the door. Then I have the coupons which make it free anyway. How can you go wrong with that?
jvmoore1 05-17-2005, 06:26 PM sw33t....
nothing wrong in getting a deal
m3th0d 05-20-2005, 01:04 AM Tried the WAYD today for the first time.. not too bad!
jvmoore1 05-20-2005, 08:50 AM they say you can even use the WAYD on your tires to get a nice shine....
