I'm getting ready to unistall my Alpine HU that I put in with the Metra 99-7863. (HU and pocket below).

Now I will be installing my Alpine HU and my Omnifi Music Keg interface beneath it. I can't seem to find a kit that allows for two DIN devices to be installed in the Element. Can I just used one for an Accord/Civic or any other double DIN honda in the Element? I'm not sure if there are differences behind the dash.

I mean, all it really is is something to hold the two devices in line with each other behind the dash and allowing for mounting them both at the same time.

Ok, judging by the massive response, there is still no Double DIN kit for the Element. I spent some time with the search feature and figured out that it may be possible to use the stock stereo brackets to mount two single DIN devices in the place of the stock HU.

Problem: I bought a DX and don't have this bracket. Is this a part that the stealership would keep in stock? I've been looking for an exploded diagram that would show the bracket but have had no luck. Anyone have the diagram,P/N, or the auctual bracket that you would be willing to sell?

I have an LX model which came with a single DIN radio and a pocket, the brackets shown in the diagram are all I have and I can install two single din items in the dash. Parts 3&4 are what I have.

Excellent, those look like they are exactly what I need. I've been looking for a kit, and there it is. I guess the keep it simple rule applies here too.

Genom, do you mean you have them:
1. Installed and currently in use with your player and pocket.
2. Have them available for me!

I'm currently using them with my JVC HU and factory pocket. I really just wanted to point out that the factory brackets (at least from an LX) will hold one double DIN or two single DIN units. Just keep in mind that the opening in the E seems a little larger than a true double DIN and you may (or may not) need to deal with gaps between the two units.

This is new isn't it? I haven't seen a kit available before.

Yea Empire. Thats what I have in the Car now. its really great, clean looking, and the pocket is totally useful. Buts what is isn't useful for is mounting my second full DIN Unit.
