So how many people have had E sightings on the roads?

In the couple weeks I've had mine, I've seen three:

A green on in Belleville, a blue one in Ypsilanti and I keep seeing an orange one parked outside the dorms in Ann Arbor.

Obviously, I'm in MI. :)

For those of us who DON'T live in California, sightings are quite rare. Besides my green one, I've seen about 5 since I got it in late January. BTW, I live in New England.

I saw my first DX model on the road today, which brings the total Element sightings up to about 5. There is one guy I work with that has one, and I've seen about 4 more on the road. Not many in a mid-sized metropolitan area. People still ask me, "What is that thing supposed to be?" and when I went to my county tax agency they said, "What's an Element, is that the same thing as a Passport?"

I hear ya....I had to school her on the fact that the Pilot replaced the Passport and that the Element is all-new for the most part.

Since we have purchase ours last week I have seen several including one that I was trying to buy. I did see my twin for the first time yesterday. I had to wave.

Since I work night shift I sleep some strange hours. I went out this morning around 4 to get some breakfast and there aren't a lot of cars out on the road where I live this time of morning. I saw a silver EX model getting gas and another one (too dark to see what color) driving down the road! When I finally made it into where I was going there was a policeman there raving over my vehicle saying he saw this thing at an auto show a couple of years ago and thought it was like something you'd see on the moon or something. I have NEVER had these many comments about a vehicle EVER. This has to be the best vehicle purchase I have ever made.

I drove 250 miles up I-81 in Virginia yesterday and spotted only 2 other E's, a silver and a black. Didn't see any others on the road at all.

At a gas station, I had an Aztec driver ask me what it was. I wanted to tell him how ugly I thought his car was (at least it was gray, not yellow!), but decided I might be in too vulnerable a position to criticize.

I love my E!! :D

You get the "Tactful Person of the Year" Award for not snarking at the Aztec.

I have really ceased to think of the Element as ugly. Now, when I first saw one I was like "Eww!" but now, I think it's adorable. The proportions and shape are different- but after awhile, it's endearing.

But the Aztec? The Aztec could never grow on me. It is, I must say, "F'UGLY". Someone was sniffing some bad glue when they came up with those aesthetics.

Personally, I intend to sneer at the H2s. I mean, who do they think they're fooling? They're soccer moms, not General George Patton!

Okay, Crazy!Kim story.

A long time ago my girlfriend and I were stopped at a light next to some guy driving a monster truck made out of an old Ford Bronco. It had been modded all to hell and had those ridiculous big tires that belonged on a tractor.

My girlfriend and I can't help but snicker so the guy driving notices and winks at us. Then he leans out and says "You girls talking about me?"

And I said "Yes. We think you have a small *****!"

:P    :D :!:

Well, before I got mine I'd seen one green one on the freeway, and one SOP parked near my friend's house. Since getting mine on 4/10, I've seen a lot more and actually chatted with two other owners. Still only seen one more SOP and one more green. Most of what's around on the roads here is silver or black. Haven't seen any blue or shoreline mist at all.

Last night I passed my first element. I have had mine since early Feb but the only ohters I have seen are the dealers test one and my dad's sop. It took a minute to recognize it. I wave and the other guy seemed as surprised as me. Two black elements pass in the night.

I've seen just about all of them now except silver. I have the shoreline mist and saw my first shoreline mist one in passing a few days ago. Only took a month of waiting since I got mine to see it's twin.

I feel like I live in a fairly large burg (Tampa-Hey, we won the Superbowl) and I've only seen about 6 E's. At least there's one, a black EX, in my 'hood (as you young folk like to say). However, it makes it easy to spot my vehicle in the employee parking garage. :)

I came in to work today and everyone said 'I saw your car in the Catherine Street parking structure'.

Which is great.

Except I parked in the Med Inn lot.

Someone's got a shoreline mist Element that works near me.

Very cool.

On a 15 mile streach of road the other day I asw 5, that amazed me. I always pass a blue one on the way to work every morning. Not to mention, my neighbor has an SOP and another girl who lives on the street behind me has a new black one.
