Hey all...just wanted to know what your best dealership experience was in Virginia, even if it's not in Richmond (could be NoVA, D.C. metro, Southern MD, VA Beach area, etc...)...I'm looking for the best deal and the best people to work with when buying a new Element.
Here locally, I have Pearson Honda (formerly Richmond Honda), Colonial Honda, and Mechanicsville Honda. Any goods or bads about those 3 here in Richmond?
Please help me out, as not only are we buying mine, but my Father is looking into getting one as well now, so we'd be buying two at once....thanks in advance for any help.
Dave.
I bought mine from Checkered Flag in Norfolk Va. I did 95% of the deal via e-mail because I was on business travel allot.
I think I got a good deal.

I got mine at Leesburg Honda. I got a far deal, but probably could have done better in haggling a price. But they were not pushy at all and helped alot.
My next car, if its a Honda I will probably get from there, but this time I am being a shark no matter where I go.

Thanks for the info so far guys...I'm going to start sending emails out this week to the local dealerships, then to some of the ones like you've mentioned to see who's got the best price on my SOP EX that I will end up with :)
I'll wait and see if anyone else chimes in though over the next couple of days with either good stories or horror stories so that I can make the best choices  The guy that's buying my '04 Civic is going to close the deal on the 10th with me...so it looks like it's not that far off before she comes home, I know the dog will be much happier :)

Stay away from Rosenthal (NVA)!
I liked Brown Mazda for 14 years and two Miatas but have no experience with Brown Honda.
I bought the E from Ourisman Honda in Bethesda. Very smooth sales transaction. Am soon going to be trying out the service department with an oil change.
Best of luck!

1) That's no way to talk about the misses ;-)
2) Hey it is now June, now you can say you are getting it THIS month!
I should add that the service department at Leesburg Honda is outstanding. The manager Terry Gibson is fantastic. Even though they bent my Thule rack on the lift, they reimbursed me immediately and did not even question my claims (since I emailed them the pictures). They hence have tagged my account and take extra special care of me :)
2 weeks ago for a state inspection my wife said as soon as she got there and they pulled up my account the guy said "OHHHHH, you are the guys with the bent roof rack," and showed my wife the big warning note in their system so it does not happen again.
They also did an amazing job trouble shooting a problem I had with the seal around my windshield and must have called us every hour or so that day as they were trying to figure out what was causing the problem.

LOL, didn't catch the comment about the wife until today  Thanks for the tips on Leesburg, sounds like a good dealership..I'll send an email out to them as well and see what comes back.

Got mine from Sheehy Honda of Alexandria. I got a fair deal, but was so excited that they had finally gotten an SOP, I probably could have gotten some of the excessories without much ado.. lolol
But in the end, I got a fair deal and their Service department is amazing. I've since moved out to Haymarket and am dealing now with Koons Honda of Manassas. I know the Part Manger ;) and I get deals on my extras.. *shhhh*
Good luck!!!
