I spoke with the Hotel Manager this morning. She gave me the figures as of this morning on Hotel Room Bookings...

Thursday: 30
Friday: 40
Saturday: 36

The block I reserved was for 70 each night. Considering how many people have registered something does not add up here. I understand that 16 people are from Ohio... but even with those numbers and the 1 or 2 people that said they might be camping... where is everyone going to be sleeping?

If you have not already booked your hotel room, please... please... take care of it before Monday.

I have given them permission to release the rooms on Monday June 13, 2005. If you don't get a room, please don't complain about this. Everyone has had ample time to book themselves a room.

note: if you try to book after Monday, let them know why you are booking the room and they will try to accomodate people doing this at the last minute. :)

My guess is they are all sleeping in their cars. I'm sorry I'm going to miss this event, but it's a weekend I have to work. I sure wanted to go though.

Yeah. I was gonna sleep in the car/camp, but its going to be hot and gross out, and i'll want to sleep in the A/C and take a shower and all that. I'm more of a winter camper. :)

Have enough "points" with another hotel chain just up the street from the official venue to stay for free...plus I was afraid I'd get the room next to booggerg.

We have a block at the AmeriHost Inn (http://www.elementownersclub.com/meet/hotel.php) in Columbus, OH. They will continue to take reservations at our discounted rate for a while, but I had to allow them to rent the rooms to other people. Just mention "Element Owners Club" and get a nice discount. :)

I just called and cancelled our reservations at the hotel (theres now a jacuzzi suite open for anyone whos interested)... My mothers taking my daughter to Portlan, OR that weekend and we cant go without her so we cant go. Sorry everyone. Maybe next year!

It would be fine and we would love to travel without the kids (our one kid and one to diversionary (sp?) tactics) but grandmas only taking kelby for the weekend Fri-Sun and since we live in CA there is no way to do it for us... It would take atleast 3 days to drive it each way and if we were to fly it would only give us really Saturday... Sorry.

Im only a few days late on paying my registration, BUT I will be there with my E and will be staying at the hotel along side about 70 other E's. Also I will be going through the Honda plant. Looking forward to it. See you there!!!
