Neighbor down the road has a Ford w/ freebie XM for past 14 months. Can I get addicted for free or will this end in the near future. Or would it be cheaper (and more simple) just to get one of the portable xm players and plug it into the aux outlet? It would be WAY WAY WAY cheaper to either buy a new aftermarket head unit that accepts XM or Sirius or just buy (either service) a portable unit (i.e. SkyFi, Raody, MyFi, Sportster....) 05BlackOnBlack 06-14-2005, 11:31 AM Just got my new SkyFi2 w/ car kit for $69 total. It has been that way since they both started. blutch 06-16-2005, 12:10 PM Actually, XM has only been commercial free on music channels for 5-6 months. They have both had commercials on non-music channels from the very beginning. I don't mind it on talk channels - fox/cnn/etc., but its annoying on 150. Try Opie and Anthony - 202.
