: Door visor removal?

My brand new (Saturday) SOP EX was wrongfully violated at the dealership with the attachment of door visors. I personally think they are not of much use (except for smokers), and somewhat unsightly. The dealer was gonna charge me $218 for these two pieces of $10 plastic which I didn't even want! Luckily, they felt some sense of remorse and removed them from my invoice -- but said they couldn't easily remove them from my car...somethin' about super-strength epoxy yada. I probably can learn to tolerate them, especially since they were free, but was curious whether I really would have a hard time removing them, If I so choose. Accessories are usually NOT "permanent" -- what happens if one cracks and I need it replaced? The install instructions at H&A seem like they wouldn't be that hard to remove -- but thought I should pose the questions to all you accessory experts out there....any clue?

Working carefully and slowly with a hairdryer you might get them off will minimal damage. The use 3m tape to hold them in place. You can check with 3m to see if they make a solvent that is paint save.
