I'm 49 and my husband (52) talked me into buying my E - at first I was hesitant - but love the attention. When my much older brother said it was ulgy, I knew I had a winner - because we don't agree on anything!

Age 56. Guess I don't fit into Honda's demographics, but then I gave up driving a sporty yellow Toyota Celica for my new E. Secret: When you get there, 56 isn't what you thought it would be when you were 26 ;-)

My husband is 30- he is a former New Beetle driver, so going from one attention getter to another! (It's fun to drive in a NB and watch people slug each other in the arm when they see you....! <-- slug bug game if you don't have it in your neck of the woods)

Anyway, my parents are TOTALLY jealous! They're Santa Fe owners. :P

When my Mom saw the Element at the Cleveland Auto Show during its concept phase, she kept telling my Dad that eventually we'd get one. :)

Certainly didn't fit the demographics Honda was shooting for :D Went from 2 Honda Odysseys....mini van momma....to an E owner!

I'm 42 but started my family later in life than most. Adopted my first daughter at the age of 37 and my second at 39. I've got to do my best in staying young since my daughters are so young.

And as for the attention....trying driving up in an E and having 2 Chinese daughters hop out with a very Caucasion mom:D Glad I'm secure in my roll as an E driver and adoptive mom:) :) :) :) :)

Hey Kermie-I'm another "geezer" mom-I'll be 43 next week and have a 7 year old and 3 year old-both boys plus 2 dogs. I'm running alot.... the E definitely helps fight the minivan stuck in suburban he** stereotype:D

Dang, never thought of myself as a geezer, but I guess I am beginning to fit in that age bracket :)

I think my aunt's first words fit me best. She said the loved my Oydssey vans but my E really looked like me. I'll take that as a huge compliment:D

And besides, those of us that became moms later in life need to be as "youthful" as possible.....or am I already going through my second childhood:-o

44 years young here. My 16 yr old son's friends think it's pretty cool. But they say I'm a cool mom anyway :roll:

I know I am only 24... but I have always spent my life around older people. In my opinion, age is only a number.... and if you focus on the number, it will run your life. The number of one's age does not decide how you should feel or act.... if you are 44, 54, 64, 74... that number doesn't matter... it's what's in your heart. :oops:

So true, DrumminChick---I'm 53, but I teach 3-5 yr. olds and I totally relate to them; and I work with high schoolers, and I'm just one of the "gang"; and I cook for senior citizens, and love making them laugh! Age---bah!:D

A friend of mine has had a full head of grey hair since she was 20. I think it looks great!

I don't know if my hair is grey yet.... Right now it's pink...this winter maybe blue or black...we'll see what kind of mood I'm in! :-D

Sorry to pop into a TESTOSTERONE FREE thread but which law firm do you work for ? I work for Steptoe & Johnson in DC as a network engineer.....
