Anyone installed the sidesteps on there E? Do any holes have to be drilled, or does it use existing bolts under the E?

It uses existing holes, just screw them in and your off!!

The first side step took me 2 1/2 hours to install! As you learn from your mistakes, the 2nd one only took 45 mins :D The hardest part was the middle section of the side step holes. The screws didn't seem to want to screw in and i had a hard time align it.

I installed mine Sunday morning. you definitely need to elevate the Element unless you are very skinny. The holes are there, the first one took about 45 min. and the second about 30 min. I also added the mudflaps. It looks wonderful. I took a well needed shower and went crusin'. I love my Satin Silver 2WD EX. :D
