I'm heading to ME to go canoeing on the Saco. So I'm going to haul my canoe up and hit the water for the weekend. :)

Anybody else???

I think you'll be disappointed.

driving to atlanta to spend time with my new in-laws. (no jokes here...they are really cool) looking forward to some strange looks from people. my windows are so dark they can't see inside. i've actually had people come up to the car while sitting in a parking lot and try to look inside and then realize that i'm staring back at them. it's good for a laugh.

The girlfriend and I are heading out to Niagara Falls, NY this weekend to visit some of her family. I'm more excited about spending the 6 hour drive in my E. It really is the ultimate road trip car.

Our E plans for the weekend are going to be packing it up with stuff and our Yellow Lab and heaing up to our cottage in Maine for a week of rest and relaxation by the lake.

HAHA HAHA I tried to go there once... Many, many years ago... My daughter and I were in NYC and trying to drive there and somehow ended up lost and saw the sign "Welcome to Conn." sign. LOL

We are heading to my parents camp in Maine to hang out on the boat for the weekend. Looks like there will be a lot of E's in Maine this weekend.

No particular plans, but first post to test the board. Bought mine last week, and have about 700 miles on a green EX automatic.

Hitch and rack on the way, too.

It's my first green Honda since an '81 Accord LXi hatch, and it's great. I don't think I'll have to mod the stereo, either.

Edit: The Yakima bits came yesterday. I will have to unpack them to see whether they're all there, and assemble the kit on Sunday.

Just got back from DC, 800 miles round trip. I usually fly but thought I'd take my first long road trip. Smooth ride all the way. On another note, I can't believe the tolls on the way! I'm used to paying a buck or two on the Mass. Pike! I'll never complain about that again.

No plans this weekend, but I just got back from a 1796 mile road trip that included Philly, DC, and Virginia. My E performed great whether on the highway or on the mountain roads of the Blue Ridge & Shenandoah ranges.

J'sE I totally agree with you about the tolls! I felt like I got mugged in New York - $6.00 at just one toll alone! Mass tolls don't seem so bad now.

Hope everyone has a fun & safe holiday weekend :)

I think the round trip cost me $38 in tolls. As someone who usually travels north (.50-.75) rather than south ($5 for eleven miles in Deleware?!) I have to admit I wasn't prepaired.

I actually slept in the E this weekend, for the first time. It was just me alone, and I put the seats forward, flipped the one back seat up to the side (the other is in the garage), and slept on a small air mattress (swimming pool style). I'm 6'4", and I fit well. Slept like a baby. It was great!

Well, my dog and I slept in my E and we were both comfortable.
I lowered all the seats and put my backpack in the one open area, then we both slept in the entire roomy open space (on seats-w/sleeping bags for padding).
Oh did I mention Vinnie weighs in at 135 pounds.
Good thing he wasn't with a couple, eh?

Have done camping with him several times.
Always comfy.

Bad form indeed. I'm a bit ill after the beloved Cubbies dismal week.
WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR.
So sad, 55 years as a Cub fan and still the same story.
