Ok, this question is for anyone who owns Lexol and also requested the 303 samples (or owns a bottle). Which is better and why?

Lexol is awesome on the leather, I much prefer 303 on the vinyl and plastic. I used in on my boat for years in the florida sun with great results. No fading, cracking or bleaching. The Vinylex doesnt seem to last as long outside, the rain seems to wash it off.

Thanks! I was hoping the 303 was as good because I can get it here locally.

Well I got some 303 and it has no smell. I guess I'm hung up on smell. Its also meant for outdoors. It can work on clear stuff which means its clear. It claims to have no silicone oil. I don't think silicone oil is generally bad but bad for rubber tires. I'll see what happens when it rains. Very light so don't know if it will hide scratches.

I tried the 303 and it seems to work ok. It hides the scratchs well and it gave the dash a deep black look and does not attract dust. The exterior panels seem to be easier to clean now, but I don't know how long it would last. The bottle says to reapply every 3 to 4 weeks.

Not perfect. Does run a little in the rain but I used a lot. I will continue to use it. I would like to mix Back to Black with 303 or alternate use.

I use 303 for everything, especially my kayaks...Best stuff ever, next to WD-40 and Duct Tape. I get it in the quart bottles online from the cheapest place I can find. Usually runs about $20 a quart, delivered.

Where can we buy a quart for $20? Please share.

The 303 website has a dealer search feature. I bought mine locally at Ace Hardware, but buying by the quart would be a good idea as it's expensive stuff.

The only dealer in my area is a expensive outdoor retailer. I'm going to buy mine online but the cheapest I can find is 23.83 including shipping for 1 quart refill. Nothing gets close to the 20 bucks that Kayakin' Dan posted. If you have a link please share!

There are about 13 West Marine stores in Virginia. Online they sell 303 Aerospace Protectant quarts for $24. There may be some marine discount shops that sell for less.

If you do some research, search on foogle (http://www.froogle.com) you should be able to find a good price. It also comes in gallon jugs.

Most RV supply stores, Camping World for example, carry 303.

Did Froogle. Checked camping world. The object is to not only get the 303 protectant, but to get it at a good price! Froogle determines the best value to be 16.83 for a quart plust 7.00 shipping (2.5 pounds).

Camping world in Mannasses VA has it for 18.00 (thanks for throwing that out) but I have to be there before 7pm which is hard for me with work. If I could find it for 20 shipped, I'd spend the extra 2 bucks in a heartbeat.

BoatersWorld has the 32 oz 303 Protectant for $12.99 and FREE shipping on order of $100 or more... if you order is less than $100 then shipping is only $6.95 for ground for a total of $19.94. Works out to less than $20.00 :)

Here is a direct link to the 303 Protectant (http://www.boatersworld.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=13140108&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10051) on their site.

Genius. Pure Genius. Just ordered mine. I actually ordered 2 bottles at that price and of course the shipping averages out much better and I saved a ton of time.
