I went out to my car this morning to find a scratch on the drivers side door, looks like I was keyed:( It's about an inch long, they also put a nice one on my rear body panel. Any one have suggestions on the body panel (blue)? I am going to use touch up paint on the scratch. What is the best way to apply touch up paint with the best results? Thanks!

:x Bummer, I hate scratches.

So far I have been fortunate not to have to deal with this problem with my E. On my other car when I have had to touch up the paint I have obtained better results with paint pens rather than brushes but still get some blobs (maybe its just me :roll: )

I have used this product to help get rid of the blobs. It smooths out the new paint to make it flush with the surface. Good luck!

An intentional "keying" would have been much longer. Sounds like someone was just being an idiot by accident instead of on purpose.
