anyone know what the offsets are?

Not exactly....but most FWD offsets will fit, here RWD offsets will not. FWD seem to be about 35 to 45 range, with most about 38 to 42. Go to www.tires.com and type in the Element and it will bring up a large assortment for you to choose from.

Hey All,

Sorry if this has been asked a million times. I tried searching, but I find conflicting info.

What exactly is the bolt pattern for a 2003 Element?
Is it 5x114 or 5x114.3 ???

THANKS!

Yes...5x114.3 or 5x4.5....offset is 45mm

EX/LX/DX tires are 215/70/16
SC are 225/50/18 i believe or 225/55/18

SC's offset is the same at 45mm

Thanks, figured I might as well put it all into a single post in the thread. While looking for definitive numbers is where I ran across the pics of the 5 wheels that have come on the Element over the years and thought... why not toss those into the mix. :)

I see specs for the 16inch and the 18inch (Stocks options) what if you want a 17inch option?

offsets and width will be prettymuch the same for16-18 on element. if you wanted 15s. you might need alil less offset to clear the calipers. 19s and 20+ might take slightly different offsets due to the well square fitment inside the wheel-wells

17s should have no issue size wise. 16 and 18 is just the sizes of stock wheels 16 on all and 18 on sc 16X6.5 with 45 i think? and 18X7 with 45

what kind of size are you looking for? prettymuch a 6.5-9 wide wheel will fit with a 45 +-5 offset

different sizes and offsets will fit with different mods to ride height also

Like racer2000 said, check for caliper clearance! Once I realized E shared the same pattern as most jeeps I was phsyced! I had two sets of pretty cool jeep wheels available for nothing, only to find they hit the calipers! Aahhhh!!!! If you don't find anything you like aftermarket, most OEM Honda/Acura wheels( I myself found an old set of TL wheels I'm using) will work; some late model Mustang wheels will work too!

1 more thing about the wheels for our Hondas, they're hub-centric, ie, the center hole is supposed to snugly fit around the axle hub.
now, if i just could remember what the hub hole size is, 62mm?

Hi all. Someone told me that the bolt pattern was changed in a particular year. I would like to know if my 2011 EX wheels will fit on a first year E. Thanks!

The bolt pattern has never changed. All years from 2003-2011 are 5 x 114.3

And the hub bore is 64.1mm. Same for all year Es.

The hub bore for the front of the S2000 wheels is 70.3. You will need a
hub ring adapter. The other concern is the offset of the rear wheels. It
is around +55 or so. It will sit a lot closer to your suspension, it may even rub.
