SO, where is everyone? I'm in the Spring area, and here I am thinking I'm so spe-shal because I've got a green E, which is pretty rare. And then what do I see but ANOTHER green E right around the corner from where I work (Conroe). Humbling, no?

It would be neat to see if that person comes to this board!

I'm in Houston too. If you see a SLM with a large round decal with a dog retrieveing a duck on the back (American Chesapeake Club), that's me. We go up to the Half Price Books there and else where in the city fairly often. Oh, I did see a silver one parked in front of one of the stores on either HWY 6 or 1960.

Funny, I love that store too. I guess we will eventually see each other, as I'm sure that you park near the back of the lot to prevent door dings. (Our doors would show them pretty prominently!)

Since I bought my E, I've been walking a bit more!

Sugarland here. Well, soon to be Sugarland - have seen a few more elements in the area in the past few weeks. Got another thumbs up yesterday. Got a new windshild 4 days ago :-( THat was a bear. had to call 5 places before I finally had someone say thye would get the windshield from a dealer 535 bucks to replace since they had to get the shiled. Was 270 until thye realize thye didn't have any.

We should all get together sometime. THis summer I am taking mine back to Taos, then, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons and Mt. Rushmore if possible. Time to sleep in the car for a while.

Welp, I'm chewing my nails down. Hubby wants to take the E to Alto to camp at the ATV park.

Personally, I'd rather drive 45 minutes and stay at Coushatta Casino. I love my E, but I don't know if I REALLY want to sleep in it.

I think (gulp) he's gonna add a trailer hitch to her (I think I'm going to be very, very, sick.)

Pray for me...

Hi!

My wife and I are here in the Bellaire area. Work in the medical center where I've seen an EBP E a few times. Ours is 4wd EX SM. Love it!

Be sure to wave to your fellow E owners!

:D

I'm a new Element owner as of July 12, 2003. Got a 2WD EX green box from Goodson Honda.

So far, so good. I like it. My kids (they're in their mid 20's) insisted I get one after I wrecked my Nissan Sentra on 7-12.

I'm thinking about putting
"My box cost $18,900... What did your's cost? :D "
on the top, dark part of the rear window..... What do y'all think about that?

I am a new Element owner in the Huffman/Lake Houston area. Has anyone pulled a trailer with their Element?

Hey Houstonians, a town where you need some sort of SUV.

My husband and I both have E's (his is Shoreline Mist, mine is Galapagos Green), and we are in the Woodland Heights.

We've been seeing more and more around town. Welcome to the club all!

My SOP lives in Pearland, and it is usually pretty dirty! The other day, I pulled into a gas station at Beltway 8 and Cullen, and there were 2 other Elements there. I also seem to follow a green one home down 288 quite often.

Just got it about 3 weeks ago. I love it. Especially in the wee hours of the morning when it's just me , it, and the road.

Join Meetup.com for Houston Element Meet Up Sat., Oct 18th, 2003 at the S. Post Oak Starbucks by W Alabama at 12 noon.

See you there.

I am buying a SMM 4WD this week from a guy in Humble (3300 miles) as soon as his paper work comes in. Then my "E" will be transferring to the Tomball area. I've been looking to see another E since I made the decision last week and have not seen another Element in the Tomball area. But then again, it's hard to see around all the F350's out here.

I just got me green E a week ago and love it! I'm in the 290 and beltway 8 area (Jersey Village). I took my E to the beach this past weekend and it was great. If you see a green E with a Boxy Lady sticker on the back and a butterfly on the front thats me!

My Green Element is sporting a (Hummer escape pod) sticker below the Element label. I'm in the 249 and Beltway 8 area, but I travel all over town, Galveston, Conroe, and Lake Jackson. :D

529 & Hwy 6 in Copperfield between 290 & Interstate 10. Bought my first house in October. I have been a very happy E owner since December 10th. SOP. I wish I had the E a couple of months earlier. I moved from the Galleria area while driving a Civic. I made a bunch of trips.

Hey everyone! I have a NBP E. No stickers yet-I plan to get a UH sticker to support my Coogs. I'm sure that I have seen many of you around. I'm the one always honking when you pass me or I pull up next to you. LOL The worst part is most of you never honk or wave back. But that's okay.

I'm an Element owner of 3-weeks. I bought the orange one. I think it looks more like Copper. Anyhow I'm in the Galleria area as well. Love my Element. It loves me to you know.

"I'm gonna buy every dad-gum accessory for my Element!"

Welcome to the club. I am a need to be bonafide member of AA - "Accessorizers Anonymous". I also have a SOP. Mine is the '03. I have quite a few accessories on mine. The only thing that I can think of right now that I want is the hidden trailer hitch. See the pbase link below for pictures.

Uhmm...So far all I have is the tailgate seat back. I haven't had it that long but, I will (mark my words) have every accessory for the Element. How many things do you have?

Ree in Houston
03-08-2004, 10:39 AM
25 accessories so far.

List:
Keyless Entry('03 was an option), Window Tint, Side Steps, Roof Rack, Compartment Arm Rest, All Season Matts, Window Visors, Cargo Net, Cargo Cover, A/C condensor protection(home made), Element Seat Covers, Seat Back Bungees, Air Deflector, Locking Gas Cap matched to ignition key, Splash Guards, Dashboard Hula Dancer, Tray covers, Auxillary Cable, i-VTEC stickers, Privacy Curtain, ORNGBX license plate, E Club stickers, 18" Rims, Tires - BFG G-Force 245/55ZR/18, & a 375 Watt 2 plug inverter.

I live around 290 & Beltway or I-10 Hwy 6, kind of between I-10 and 290 in Copperfield. Someone named Hank(maybe you) emailed me last week about organizing a get together. Would you be up for that? I know Bill in Houston lives at I-10 and Hwy 6 and there are probably some other Houston E owners here.

Sure thing. What does one do at these get-togethers? I'm in the Galleria area, about a minute drive, or less, to 610 or 59.

I am trying to get a Houston get together going for sometime late March or early April. I am starting a new thread " March - April '04 Houston meetup." If you would like to attend a get together please respond to that thread.

I honestly don't know, I've never been to one either. Well actually I went to one that meetup.com organized and I was the only one to show. I wasted almost a whole day for that one. I think it would start out like a tailgate party at a college football game and hopefully wind up in a caravan to someplace like the San Jacinto Monument or somewhere similar.
